Didn't know Best Buy gave you free EA Sports titles and Titanfall and other shooters for free as well.
Based on Giant Bomb's leak, its not a matter of preference, if the game launches beyond Oct, it requires a Neo version thus its not " oh can I spend more time on a Neo version?" Its alright gotta make a PS4 version and then make two iterations of it.
If Microsoft does the same you're looking at a 5 console development stage and PC LOL talk about extra workload
Except its not a matter " IF" you can support it, based on the leaks ANY game from Oct and out will require a Neo version if it comes to OG PS4. Thus its additional hassle with no pay off what soever, once again it'll just give developers even less reason to optimize your systems.
The Collectors and Special Editions don't really seem justifiable to me per say, I like those editions enhancing my game experience w/ expansions or a Season Pass. Got the regular edition, but will be buying the Season Pass as well!

People now-days are a new level of stupid. The Season Pass is optional crying about the content is idiotic as ALL of the maps are available on public servers, meaning they don't split the player base like 99% of MP games w/ Season Passes these days. And yet people are crying about this...I expect a similar reaction to COD: Infinite Warfare's Season Pass as well right?

Gamers now a days overreact to everything. Personally the fact that some developers don't like it doesn't give me a good vibe, there's already piss poor optimization from most 3rd party titles on PS4 and One. Now it'll get even worse, I doubt OG PS4 owners are gonna be able to bear the garbage ports they'll get and eventually upgrade.
Didn't that fat dude on Youtube quote a Bioware developer on how this is BS to developers? Anyhow from my two straws it doesn't benefit the developers in anyway aside from adding more work. There isn't a separate Neo version so no bonus upgrade price or re-buy, but rather a PS4 retail version that just features upgrades via a patch or in game options.

They shouldn't launch it, what would be smarter is to make "Slim" unit that has no disk tray and costs $150. Put it on par with Roku 3 and Apple TV price wise and you can hit a whole other market while appealing to casual and core gamers as well.

AHH the whole point of a console is to have locked down hardware for 6-7 years. Now its like PC where if I want the best performance on my console platform of choice I'd have to upgrade for $200 or more (without the added benefits of PC gaming). Instead of developers continuing to push the hardware I bought 3 years ago to show me even more of whats under the hood. Not to mention the OG PS4/ One are gonna have extremely watered down ports, you think multi-platform games aren't optimizi...
Except you didn't actually read the review. Kotaku is joking about how moronic fanboys will use the quality of the title as ammo for their plastic wars. They did nothing but praise the title in general. And from what I've heard from folks who played it, Sam is bland and Drake continues to build depth, which is exactly what they stated lol
