Got mine for $36 on launch :)
Games w/ Gold will always be better. You get 4 GUARANTEED games on Xbox One vs the usual 2 on PS4. Not to mention that the 360 games you get to keep forever. Its not even a question who offers the better online service, is and will always be XBL Gold
Seems like dev kits are already in the hands of developers. Scorpio version looks to be the definitive way to play this on consoles. Now lets get that official announcement Microsoft
Chill dude its N4G, Xbox is dead, Nintendo is lame and PS4 is the milk of the Gods
Recently upgraded to a 4K gaming set myself ( KS 8000) instead of the Vizio, but I'm loving it. Just really wish Blizzard had a better Pro patch for Overwatch
I have the money to easily buy a high end PC and game on it. I just don't find any interest in it and like me there are plenty who have the same mentality. The plug in play method works and having a version of it, even with the same games is still attractive. I'm excited to see Microsoft push the Scorpio on fidelity and not just resolution alone.
Clueless and idiotic fanboy
Both of them are mid-gen consoles whose design revolves around higher graphical fidelity on the same experience as their base models. The difference is one will be drastically more powerful, but no way is that system going to be utilized as you're still designing for the base model and then scaling it to higher resolution/ higher frame-rates etc.
Disagrees come from your fanboy antics. " lack of console sellers" lol thats stupidly subjective not factual. The argument of exclusives doesn't even apply to Xbox anymore, they technically don't have any moving forward.
They're literally the same thing, neither one is superior to the other in terms of concept.
Microsoft will just finally have more horsepower to work with, but it seems to be a repeat of Xbox vs PS2. Where the PS2 dominated with simpler and weaker hardware as a result of tremendous 3rd and 1st party support. The Pro will be cheaper and its got a really good catalog of games to work with. Just wish more Japanese 3rd party exclusives supported the Pro
Doubt it, based on what they're saying in marketing talks its still going to be held in the Sol system
This game is shat on WAY too much. And 99% of the people who hate on it are sheep who literally cite every bad review as the gospel. It's got issues yes, but a TON of content and the missions and combat are hella fun. If you're hesitant wait for a price drop, but for the sheer love of exploration and space, I easily recommend a buy at some point.
Based on the promo art, the first expansion will focus on Osiris and his story and the second one will focus on Vex and Rasputin
LOL you gotta love how when you provide a data driven study, people go " I don't care what it says, I believe in my heart that Sony is my love and they are loved for their games" or some BS along those lines. Truth is the PS4 being more powerful was a very big reason to why it launched into success, why would I buy an Xbox One for $100 more and get 720p instead of 1080? That was one of the biggest marketing points for the PS4 its first few years, even Sony corporate rode on that...
You realize this year from Sony studios you've only had Gravity Rush 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn right? It's not like Sony's pouring exclusives left and right. The PS4's just has amazing 3rd party support from Japanese and Western studios
The hate for this game is SO STUPID. Its not perfect, I'd say an 8/10 game for me. But its got a boat load of content, the gameplay is phenomenal and all in all its got a pretty decent story. My only issue would be with having only 3 fully explorable worlds. Kind of a let down especially going over to Frostbite
But they did lol
- 1800p ( checkerboard)
- Much better ambient occlusion
- Better shadow maps
- Better use of motion blur
- Improved texture maps
- Increased DOF
I wouldn't call it "moderate" by any means, its got 2x the GPU power with a more powerful CPU and a bit more RAM.
Proof is in the titles too
HZD: 2160p ( checkerboard) vs. 1080p
BF4: 1800p ( checkerboard) vs. 900p ( dynamic resolution to a bit under 1080p)
NBA 2K17: 2160p vs 1080p
Final Fantasy 15: 2160p ( checkerboard) vs 900p
Mass Effect: Andromeda: 1800p ( checkerboard) vs 1080p
Based on the Beta footage, the sound design is still mediocre and far behind the likes of Forza and DC. For one shift sounds are way too artificial, not every car has a DCT so upshifts shouldn't always be lighting fast especially on a Ford Focus lol, the downshift noises are even worse than FM5, they sound like the engine is about to blow up and don't get me started on tire squeal. Its a step above GT6 but it still needs serious work, especially since the roster is so limited, I expec...
Probably resolution, I presume around 1440p and including better tessellation and ambient occlusion
Hopefully its a true 4K update and not just a 4K hud crap like on the Pro
