LOL Number of exclusive made by each company this year
Microsoft - 1 ( Halo Wars 2)
Sony 3- ( Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, MLB 17)
I don't see how Sony is dramatically supporting the PS4 far more than Microsoft is supporting the Xbox One. This is also to note that Sony releases a majority of their titles in the Spring while Microsoft in the fall.
@lelo
No one actually cares about exclusives as much as the Sony crown knights on N4G think. A majority of software being sold on both platforms are games available on the opposing device. What sells units are hardware prowess, features, online community and price. As for Minecraft, in royalties alone from being on every major platform they'll make back their investment. Cry some more and think critically and then come back to make an argument
@TrimSmithBRS
LOL, the Kinect 1 to this date has sold more than PSVR and PS Move combined together. At its time the Kinect was a major commercial success. Its Microsoft inability to learn that motion gaming had its time and is no longer in the mainstream, that led them to create the Kinect 2 and thus shoot themselves in the foot this generation.
It'll be just like the PS2 era. Microsoft will have the more technologically advanced machine with less exclusive content, while Sony's machine will be less powerful, have more market presence and more exclusive software.
@KingTrash
Clueless lol, these marketing deals aren't who developers want to date, its based purely on whose bidding the most for those marketing rights. Sony is out bidding Microsoft with major publishers, which is an obvious reflection of how healthy one gaming division is over the other
Man people are so sensitive these days, like jeez you need a hug or what?
Should be a Mexican American Muslim who has a witty sense of humor and knows how to jump walls
How does that work in Destiny? lol you would literally have 2x advantage over base owners, they clearly did it for parity reasons
Not really, Prey doesn't have any PS4 Pro support, even if they have a sticker in the case for it lol
It's not native 4K, native 4K implies a rendered resolution of 2160p, which checkerboard does not do, it renders half the pixel count and then internally upscales the frame buffer to a target resolution, so the image quality will never be on par with a native one. Often times its worth checker boarding for improved performance or higher graphics quality, but in no way are they the same technically
LOL way to spin the narrative, they're being truthful not because they're the good guys its because the games they advertise aren't native 4K and thus its illegal to promote them as such. They're just avoiding lawsuits, not trying to be your knight in shining armor
Hopefully its better support than UC4. All they did was bump the resolution to 1440p, hopefully this time around its more graphical effects coupled with higher resolution
If you own a 4K TV, the Pro is the way to go for console gaming. Even just the resolution bumps alone help make titles look much better than on a base PS4. Yeah if you own a 1080p TV it just isn't worth it
@Ju
You can def say 4K gaming when the games in your highlight reel are running at native 4K. But the games they're showing don't and thus its false advertising to state 4K gaming instead they use " Dynamic 4K" as pretty every game in that reel ( aside from GOW) runs checkerboard 4K
You'll see a bigger difference than from Xbox One and to PS4 at the moment and lets not try and act like that wasn't a big deal lol
I know Sony put the " Dynamic 4K" cause of lawsuit reasons, but it does do 4K gaming as well. NBA 2K17, Skyrim and a couple other games render at native 4K. Even the Scorpio ( I'm sure will have more native 4K titles) may run into title that won't be 4K and thus " Dynamic"
Microsoft has one of the best rewards programs in the game. Think I've earned like at least close to a $100 in Amazon gift cards from it lol
People need to chill with the Scorpio articles, just the description of the machine is sending fanboys into frenzy, I don't know if they can handle anymore positive news about the machine. Especially not actual performance results
Aren't they doing it Sunday this year? So isn't it earlier or am I reading the days of the week wrong?
Yup cause floor space always equates to more games on the show floor. If you're doing multiple VR spaces for a variety of VR titles, theres your need for a ton of space, not to mention the GT Sport floor space last year was massive and thats just ONE game. People really hype random shit up with no clue as to how these things actually work lol
