Think Microsoft did a much better job showing you why you want to buy their mid-gen upgrade over the Pro. The Pro literally showcased like 2 games utilizing its hardware lol in the end this isn't a new generation of console. Its iterative hardware for the enthusiast. Meaning someone whose either heavily invested into gaming or always itching to buy new tech

Its optional just like the Pro. Both of these machines are pointless for owners who don't have a 4K TV. They claim downsampling, but a majority of the improvements will focus on HDR and 4K enabled televisions.
