It’s also being developed on the Anvil Next engine that’s built for Xbox One and PS4. You won’t see a truly next-gen AC game until the next title
All signs point to them getting a Japanese studio next. Really hoping its Mistwalker
No see the issue is that the Yakuza titles are no longer exclusive to Sony hardware and thus it is absolute trash now and Xbox gamers are over hyping it
Some of the talent from Evolution got offered positions at code masters. Grid is more of the title that the original DC team works on
@Anubis G
If its washed out try switching out of Auto Color and go to native
There's no doubt the Series X has a ton of power. But if today's " gameplay" trailers showed anything, its that its really gonna be first parties who need to show us what the hardware is truly capable of. Microsoft has some talented engineers, I wanna see Playground's Fable on a next-gen engine, Obsidian's next-gen engine, Forza Tech and Slipspace from 343. These 3rd parties, aside from maybe CDPR or Rockstar, really every push the limits of the system hardware
I understood the gun decisions and reasons for the lack of attachment and player customizations. I don't get how they took 5 steps backwards with the map design. BF4 had entire skyscrapers and dams breaking to completely change the flow of the map. How did they go from that to some of the most static maps I've seen in a modern BF game.
Hopefully BF6 brings those epic moments back in much bigger scale. Rumors point to it being a Series X and PS5 only title
So based on this I can only presume Activision isn't planning the Treyarch Black Ops reboot this year. Most likely a 2021 release window. Which is good, it'll let one of the best CODs in years, breath out
she went to EA, so pretty much wrote the ending on her creativity there. Microsoft should pick her up if Sony doesn't offer a spot on another studio. She's a great writer
Bought Dreams primarily for the content being created. As I don't really have the time to make anything on my own, its pretty cool and there's some fun stuff out there. I hope MM supports the game far off into the future including on PS5
Rumors point to:
Halo Infinite
Fable (reboot)
Obsidian's new RPG ( in the works)
Forza (its not going to be titled Motorsport 8, apparently its a new design)
Hellblade 2
Showcases
I'm absolutely blown away by the texture and lighting quality. I'm guessing the game has much bigger wide linear levels than UC4 hence the size
Yes and no, CPU has direct correlation to the physics on display and the frame-rate. Both of which are part of the visual package of the game.
To be fair, Sony still has two big titles dropping this year. Both of which they want to push PS4 sales. Hence until Ghosts releases, I doubt you'll hear anything about new games or more information about the system
Trailer pretty much confirms that the AC that we knew, a stealth focused, parkour based game is gone. In the way of basically Odyssey but with Vikings.
Its Vikings...the picture also shows viking styled votes traveling and big scale wars
Can the PS fanboys please down vote this comment for no reason as they've been doing to every positive article about any Microsoft title. Thank you
@Destiny1080
LOL that is absolutely the furthest thing from the truth. In reality the performance of ray tracing is not based on accuracy, that terminology makes no sense. Its about bounces and how many you can implement among a path or from lighting probes. In that space, having more CUs means more ROPs and thus much more capability in the hardware to be able to produce more bounces, at more frequent rates to get better RT performance. So having 52 CUs vs. 36 means the Xbo...
Probably one of the most exciting things about next-gen will be Ray Tracing. The Minecraft Path Based Ray Tracing is just superb it looks like a damn CGI movie. Hopefully we can get ND, Decima's and other UE4 titles pulling off real time path or GI based ray tracing.
Sony is in no rush to talk about PS5 because they have two major AAA titles hitting the PS4. Literally makes no sense to even talk about the system as they are still trying to push PS4 sales going into the fall. The PS5 will no doubt be a success at launch even without any major titles, the current install base on the PS4 pretty much ensures that
