GT Sport is def more realistic than most other racing games, but it def is not as hardcore of a simulator as Flight Sim is in the realm of plane flying. Comparing apples to oranges
I don't even think you're going to get the detailed topography on the base Xbox One, maybe the One X. This game is going to run like poop on the OG Xbox One
Are these logos going to be the ones going on the game cases I wonder? Seems like they're going for the general Xbox brand logo for the marketing and box materials
The lighting is incredible, and there is GI Ray Tracing coming to hardware capable enough for it. But man the landscape mapping tech is one of the most impressive things I've seen in video games. Its so insanely accurate and is modeled so good. Ive heard that the next Forza is also going to be using pieces of the Azure tech to push realism in weather and free road racing levels
As much as Ray Tracing is going to be that next big thing. The SSDs on both next generation systems are really bringing about the age of either no loading or very little load speeds. Open worlds that are insanely realistic and accurate ( Flight Simulator, rumors point to the next Forza using similar tech) or ones that are massive and can be loaded in super fast ( Spiderman tech presentation) to just being able to take games like God of War ( continuous one shoot) feel even more immersive. ...
The system/ OS is not going to hog 8 GBs of RAM. Sony has yet to detail how much of the unified RAM is used for system resources. But going off the OSes of the PS4/ Xbox One it'll be in the ball park of 3-4 GBs. So the PS4 will have at minimum almost 12GBs of RAM available for use by the GPU
The problem isn't crossplay, its actually a really cool function that allows a lot of my friends to all play together. The issue is they don't have anti-cheat software and instead have a "team" that is dedicated to finding said hackers and banning them. That is the issue, they need to actually have good anti-cheat software
All I see in those headlines are talent talent talent
Hell no, look at who they added for their team at The Initiative, talents from Tomb Raider, Bioshock, Red Dead and so on. They easily have the most talent but their games is probably 3-4 years out
BRUH both controllers look great and are both improvements over their previous iterations. Why does EVERYTHING need to be turned into some kinda kid bait war?
@abizzle
I doubt all 16 GBs on the PS5 are being used for JUST the GPU. If we use the PS4 for reference, it used around 3 GBs of the unified system memory of 8 GBs of RAM for system processes. Assuming the PS5 OS ( and I HIGHLY doubt its only 3 GBs) is using the same, that means theres only only 13 GBs of RAM to be used for graphics computing. Putting the same model on the Xbox end of things that still leaves 10 GBs at a much higher speed with a higher bit rate than the PS5's RAM...
That fund for Independent Developers is amazing. I hope they do like a game promotion where if you buy titles a part of it goes towards said fund! Would be great
I really wish AC would go back to its stealth and more story based experiences. The massive open world style is just boring AF to me
The arm chair engineers on N4G are so knowledgeable I am truly enlightened
@sinspirit,
There's no medical or any form of actual research done to prove your point. But nonetheless as you said its preference. I have big hands so for me the Xbox and Switch controllers have just been more comfortable, nothing wrong with the DS4, its just TO ME uncomfortable and I've owned a PS4 then a PS4 Pro both since launch so hopefully another 10 years my body will mutate to find the DS4 as the most superior controller of all time like y'all
I personally think comfort wise the Xbox Controller got the thumb sticks right, to each is their own. But its width and ergonomic are first class. The Pro Controller from Nintendo is pretty good too, I like the DS4 and its def an improvement over the 3 but my hands are tired after like an hour or so of playing something like COD
Its design flow looks to be WAYY more ergonomic than the DS4. Taking cues from the Xbox controller which is easily the best in the game, but man this looks up there. I'm thinking the PS5 is gonna be White now? Possible with black outlines
I'm pretty sure the cheating is not just limited to Warzone. I've played with PC players who know exactly where I am like precise, even while im running Dead Silence, Ghost and Cold Blooded. And are also just unstoppable as one time I caught one guy from behind and I had to put half my clip from an M4A1 in point blank range to kill him
God damn didn't think ND could push the PS4 hardware any more than they did with UC4, but this game looks already a step up not only in the lighting but the draw distances and the general LOD as well. Sucks it got delayed but now I'm even more excited
Developers also talked about ray tracing and in that space having more CUs will always lead to much better Ray Tracing performance.So that bigger GPU will absolutely come in handy as more and more game engines implement GI based ray tracing.
