Do you know if the game has PS4 Pro support? I haven't played P5 and wanted to get the best version of it
Still don't understand why Sony fanboys are trying so hard to make the PS5 seem like its up to par with the Series X...it isn't. I don't care what any arm chair engineer on this page says, but no way is 36 CUs ever going to match the performance of a GPU with 52. Not to mention the 2.23 GHz speed on the 5 can cause so many bottlenecks and it isn't even sustained, its a peak of 2.23 GHz. Assuming first party titles can push this constantly, how on earth are you going to maximiz...
It won't, the Series X is the more impressive hardware. However, in terms of visuals, Sony's game developers are far more talented. I've yet to see anything on Xbox match UC4 in the visuals and technical elements, which will promptly look out dated as the TLOU Part 2 and Ghosts make their way onto the PS4 and I have yet to see a game beat those two visually
Exclusives are dumb, games should be available on a majority of platforms as the options is always the best for the consumers. Nonetheless it also deters the hard work of the people making it as, they not only will it generate more money (ROI etc), but it also allows said titles to just build that much more clout.
I think the future should be a space where you have limited number of exclusive games with these companies fighting over services and hardware.
Yes he is a developer, but the arm chair engineers on N4G are a far more reliable source y'all
I know people here will frame it in a positive light in every way, but Sony's BC solution is downright dog shit, especially with how ahead Xbox already is on that front. And for the people who say who wants to play old games on a new console, you are the very type of ignorant fools that keep progress from happening
@Ausbo
Its not that people don't get, you can't teach ignorant people new rhetoric brodie
@ArmyVetGamer
Did I say Xbox fans are angels? My point with this entire topic is power matters, it has and always will
@ABizzel1
OR they can just launch at 400-500, Microsoft has said a billion times already that they don't care about bottom dollar from console hardware, but rather from the services it sells for them. I can easily see them taking a loss on the hardware front to post customers to sell their services and make money on the backend
If graphics didn't matter then why in the hell are we getting a new generation? Oh wait thats cause it does, in fact the visual improvements is literally what the last 2 generations have been about.
Power matters, is it the only thing? No....but again its important, as it what a leap in generation is all about
@GTgamer
Couldn't agree with you more GT, my only issue is that when the Pro launched with mediocre specs in comparison to the Xbox One X, why everyone was so quick to forget the weak hardware debate
Still remember the days when 1.2 vs 1.8 TFLOPs had the PS4 fanboys absolutely blasting any possible graphics related articles about how garbage the OG Xbox One was....wonder what'll happen if this rumor turns out even more accurate
I wouldn't doubt that Microsoft undercuts the hardware price to gain market share, they know that in the end their services are their future (including games) and thus for them if they launch at $400 price point, they can easily undercut competition and with their massive financial backings, hope to play the long game
Competition breeds excellence, Nintendo's cool, but its system does not directly compete the PS series, as there just isn't anywhere near as much 3rd party mainstream title support. Fanboyism is a sickness, get help
Only on N4G is a commitment to ensuring that a lot of gamers aren't left behind...viewed as some kind of antagonistic principle.
Also most games aren't ever pushing the graphical boundaries of the hardware in Year 1/2. You have the past 7 generations to show you that. Nonetheless I think its a great move for those who may not be able to afford a brand new system but want to still play the newest games coming out. Elitism in something like gaming is about as pathetic...
So much misinformation....jeez N4G
1. You DO NOT need to buy the DLC to use the 200 new Pokemon being added, these can be traded to you or you can import them from saves that support Pokemon Home
2. The DLC is primarily for being able to catch the new Pokemon in the wild and also for new areas and stories
3. New legendaries, yes are linked to the DLC, however, this isn't anything new in Pokemon
Or you can idk like every other generation, import them from a previous game, which Pokemon Home is going to allow you to do even with games dating back to X and Y
@xHeavy
You don't need to buy the expansions to get the 200 new Pokemon. You can get them traded to you or imported via Pokemon Home, just not catchable in the game without the pass
Thats so weird and hard to believe tbh...the arm chair engineers and creative directors on N4G clearly know more and they said Microsoft is where studios to to die....so someones gotta be lying
@GTgamer
Man I must really be living under a rock, as I didn't know the PS5 already had a slew of titles slated for launch. Care to inform us?
