if you are right about the update been a download and not already on the system, what about users that do have the internet?

i really liked Indigo Prophecy but you never watched the action, you are just watching for button presses.

surely Sony can generate enough money between adverts, Like deepbrown said sponsor homes etc, user content.
i think Americans forget that HDTV is new in the UK!

I agree that £425 for a 'games console' is alot but Sony is not selling a 'games console' it is supposedly selling so much more

To be fair, people have a go at Phil because he usually talks alot of rubbish. One statement that comes to mind is "Rumble is Last Gen"
i think he is starting to feel better about his companies offering and is starting to realise that he doesnt have to lie to sell consoles.
I definately agree that the PS3 cant not support a title like GTA4 on it own.

Ok sounds great, I have a few questions which i havent seen answered:
- will a unified friends list be visable in Home?
- will you be able to see where your friends are in the world?
- when you start a game from within Home, will you exit to Home?

I think its fair to say that it will be funded by advertising.
and by people who buy premium products (Not sure why anyone would actually want to do that but i sure many will!!!)
just keep the assists on, especially the racing line as it tell you when to brake.
There is alot of details in the game but if it is like the first one then you dont have to do alot of it to have fun with the game.
Really depends on how competitive you get with friends as tweaking can save you valuable time especially when playing drag
All the doubters you check out the 2 videos that have been posted,
they both completely blow away every other racer
about 30 mins long and its great!

To be fair, Shane is a huge Sony Fanboy, if he had reviewed Motorstorm on 1Up it would have got high 9's if not a 10.
I agree it could cool but it probably not something i would get in to. However i think most people are overlooking the fact that achievements are coming. That is alot more important than houses and a furniture.

As i have been saying since they announced 220,000 units at launch that they wont sell out!
it took the Wii 5 weeks over christmas to sell 200,000 so i expect EVERY store to have a few left on launch day. Retaillers will have consoles available to everyone that wants one a week after launch if not on the first day.
Play.com and Amazon.co.uk (probably will sell the most between them) are still taking preorders and I believe they will have consoles for sale on laun...
