Everyone went crazy yesterday over the 1UP Yours podcast saying about some important 360 exclusives coming to PS3. Obviously not many people actually listen to the podcast as they said that the 360 will be at least getting one of the FF13 games if not more and it would be announced at the party in May
Personally couldn't care less, I have never understood why so many people like JRPGs
MS has Gears on an exclusive agreement for the first 2 games. It is very possible that number 3 will be multi-platform.
The third game will be around 4 years away though
As a said above, 1UP said on the podcast that Ninja Gaiden Sigma will also be coming to 360
yes Mass effect is MGS so there is no chance.
if it is Bioshock then i would imagine a timed exclusive for Microsoft. They mentioned that MS define an exclusive as a game that comes to a console first so it points towards timed exclusives.
Lost Planet and Dead Rising are almost certain but no chance of Alan Wake as MGS are involved
if you listen to the podcast, Luke Smith seems to know what Shane was talkign about and said that they were 2 games had been released on other consoles before. Shane also thinks one of them is KOTOR which would make sense.
Mass effect is been created by Bioware and MGS so there is no chance

They also mentioned that it is likely that Ninja Gaiden will be released on 360 as well
I do love the updates though, more games should do it.

in HMV (this is Ireland though) you can use student discount on games and acessories but not hardware.
i think both shops do 'insert shop name' points where you can use them as more discount on other products. Usually when you buy a console you get nearly enough points for another game. I would check that out as well.
not realy knocking 10% off as you get 10% off every product in Virgin if you have a Student card.
to be fair i would agree with him on the current PS3 line up. That will change as more games are released though.
this is the reason why i dont like sites such as vgwars and nextgenwars, there is no way this is factually accurate.
Its complete guess work probably based off a few companies' pre-orders
now i am not saying that the PS3 didnt sell 500k, just saying there is no where you can know that at the moment

Yeah i agree with the comments that it should be selling better as its a great console at a great price. I always think its a shame that people see a brand rather than a product.
If you believe that consoles sold amount to the console winner then i can see Sony selling more in the long run but no where near 100 million. I see MS/Nintendo been the big winners as they will both increase market share at the expense of Sony.

Is this a new DeepBrown or just a passing phase to counter the millions of posts saying that there is no demand for the PS3?
I want to buy a 360 in the next couple of months and to be honest i am kinda trapped until they announce something.
Some sites are saying that the black version will be limited edition and the white version will be upgraded after all the black ones are sold.
If this is true, what/when do i buy??? Buy a black one that will be 20% less in a couple of months or buy a orginial prem that will also see a price reduction?.

just visit amazon.co.uk or Play.com who are still taking preorders that will be delivered on launch day.
sorry i just buy (pun intended) the shortages, the Wii sold out in 1 day on Play.com which sold around 80,000 on launch. You still cant order a Wii by the way
As I said it will sell well through fanboys but this launch is like no launch before. There is ample stock, high price and lack of a system seller.
