well i like the fact that poor stories are approved and go to the section page rather than the front page as some people will read them.
I agree that Newsbot is usualy the only reason things get approved but this would change with editors. I can imagine that it will be difficult to choose users though.
this whole story is pretty cool, it also worked out well with the guy playing Forza 2 then getting the fastest lap in qualifing. To win the race as well is pretty nice as well ;)
After the first game been amazing I am certain this game will get 9's everywhere. The only problem i can see anyone mentioning are the limited amount of tracks but its not something i am worrying about.

i think you could be right with testing the dedicated servers with the Halo 3 beta.
I think it will be similar to most PC games which have maybe 10 dedicated servers playing set games and then you will be able to create your own games through peer to peer. Luke Smith on 1UP is certain it is happening so it will eventually
slightly un-game related but maybe they will add video marketplace to Europe and Japan? something that i would be very interested in :)
CVG ask whether MS will counter with a similar product to Home but i dont think there is any chance of this.
Home is unproven, if they ever decide to 'copy' then they will wait until they know people actually want and willing use Home.
1UP has been hinting for ages that MS are going to move to dedicated servers so this might be announced. This would tie in more with the quote:

I agree that the approval system does not always work perfectly and unless the story is controversial, it is difficult to get 5 approvals.
I think its time we see some users upgraded to N4G Editors so news can be approved faster.
I also think that there is still too much news on the front page. Articles soon get replaced on the main page and forgotten about by lesser stories which never reach 100 degrees.

I did a report at uni about the 360 in 2005 and included this information. They showed different versions of xbox live and prototypes of the 360.
