My favorites:
1. Silent Hill 2
2. Alan Wake
3. Haunting Ground
4. Parasite Eve
5. Dead Space
Some of my favorite games have been Arcade Games on XBL. Limbo is nothing short of brilliant, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is one of my favorites at the moment and Castle Crashers, Costume Quest and Shadow Complex have been so much fun since release. Nintendo is really making a mistake (what a shock) with staying away from downloads.
Something that I have not had to imagine thanks to having a real life fiance:)
RIIIIIIIGHT :/
This has got to be about the lamest game Sony has put out this generation.
Nice! Very excited for this game, I know many others didn't like the first installment but I loved everything about it:)
The only way GTAV is going to be a good game is if it's called Red Dead Redemption 2. I hate GTA.
Bayonetta is one of my top titles this generation, I had so much fun all the way through. The possible sequel has me very excited:)
The reinvention of the dashboard on the 360 has been a great way to keep the console feeling fresh. The XMB and Playstation Store however feel painfully oudated at this point.
I purchased all of the DLC for Fallout 3 at the time and then purchased the GOTY edition so that I could have all that content no matter what because I assume next generation you won't be able to download all this DLC again. That is why I waited on New Vegas, I haven't played because I am still waiting for the GOTY.
Speaking from my own experiences the Best Buy stores around the Minneapolis area have some top notch gaming sections. For example in Apple Valley the selection of new and used titles rivals anything I've every seen at ANY GameStop.
My favorite thing about used games at Best Buy is that they are all in truly like new condition, shrink wrapped, complete and with NO stickers on cases for way cheaper. I for one am all for GameStop having a harder and harder time doing busin...
Why do people like these goofy character games? I truly don't get it. A big reveal would be a quality AAA title, something new or a propery from the past brought back to life. There were so many great games on the PSX and PS2 and all is copy of a Nintendo brawler with Sony characters? Yawn!
Did they find a way to make their new controller even bigger and more ridiculous?
I had skipped Rage when it released because it seemed to be such a big dissapointment but when I was able to get a copy for free recently I couldn't pass it up:) I'm glad I had the chance to play it because I have been loving everything about it. I'd easily give it a 9.2.
I'd like to see SuckerPunch put together a new open world franchise next generation but please no more infamous. This series is so repetitive and try as Sony might (just as with Resistance) you have talented developers who really shouldn't have done anything beyond the first game for each respetive series.
Finished this weekend after getting my preorder early:) I would give it a solid 8.5, while the gameplay is tight it feels just like Gears of War 3 did, a lot of been there, done that, you know what to expect.
The only way I take interest in GTA again is if it gets back to it's GTA III roots. The ebonic, low class, uneducated theme of San Andreas was crap.
Please no, there is MORE than enough FPS to go around.
300 hour game? I like gaming as much as the next guy but if you are putting hundreds of hours into a game you might need to look up the following words in the dictionary:
1. Outside
2. Job
3. Woman
4. Life
Disagrees will be from those who have none of the above and if they do they should probably add the term "quality" before a few.
Unfortunately it went from being a brilliant single player campaign in ME1 to wasting time and resources to incoportate a completely unwanted feature by fans in the form of multiplayer. I have no interested in Gears Effect Duty 3.
"Who cares what happened in the regular season? Now's the one that matters." Uhhhhh, mistake me if I'm wrong but wasn't Mass Effect sold on the premise that what you do in the "preseason" DOES matter? Should have se...
