I enjoyed GTA3 at the time but have not been a fan of the series since. A big reason is that I'm not a fan of rap/ghetto/rasta culture in the least which the games have featured too heavily. I can't stand ebonics is real life and don't want it in my entertainment.

It all started with Peach! She has been there since day one.
"Better dead than red!"
All kidding aside I am a fan of the red hair:)
I love when people disagree with exactly what I'm doing:)
Doesn't matter what year it takes place, it's still a series that achieved greatness with CE and has been downhill since then.
I've reached a point (at the age of 35) where I would like to own just one console at the most. I have three games to finish up this generation: Gears 3, Mass Effect 3 and Uncharted 3 (my trilogy of trilogies).
After that I will be selling off my PS3 and 360, spending the time between then and next generation pursuing other interests like art, reading, cooking, traveling, watching old films, career, oh yeah.. getting married too. I'll see how PS4 and 720 look, proba...
I've seen so many posts from people talking about how broke they will be this Fall/Winter but for myself I'm picking up only two games new to round out 2011: Gears 3 and Uncharted 3. The next new game I will pick up on day one won't be until Mass Effect 3. Outside of that I'm good.
Looks promising, also shows the impact Limbo has had on downloadable titles. Closure, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Outlander, etc. using a lot of similar techniques.
Microsoft is reaching a point where it's just pointLESS to include something like Netflix under the Gold Membership.
I had a Gold account a few years back but I found I'm really not an online fan to begin with. Having a PS3 and 360 then it is great to stream Netflix on PS3, why would I pay extra?
As long as I have the ability to get my DLC, system updates and add-ons then I don't see the point, even at $5 a month to pay for Xbox Live. Again, i...
If you are a 360 owner without Blu-ray and would like to catch up on some great series like Uncharted and God of War then I think it's a good deal. A drop to $199 would have been earth shattering though.
Could be fun. My interest of course comes out of being a huge fan of 1950's sci-fi films.
It just comes down to Xbox Live. Steam is looking to be a direct competitor to the Live brand. Sony is very smart to open up to Valve and I honestly feel if Sony really wanted to drop a megaton they wouuld swap out PSN for Steam all together, at least for all things gaming related.
What I would find ideal and I'm sure people will disagree is to see the new Sony Entertainment Network with Qriocity (music and video), TV/Movies (Hulu, Espsn, Netflix) and Steam (all things ...
They will tell the development department to burn the Wii-U controller design plans and build a real console.
I couldn't agree more. Wii was a success because of the gimmicky controller with people who generally don't play video games. Mario and Zelda might have been wonderful games but I couldn't play the games. I want a classic controller where I can do something without waving my arms around or holding two seperate pieces of hardware. Unfortunately the new controller is also something I don't want to hold.
Between the 3DS and the gimmicky Wii-U with current gen graphics he should have been canned a while ago.
I want HD collection of Jet Grind/Set Radio!
I know there are some beautiful looking FPS games coming out but I gotta' say, I don't think I'll be picking up one more FPS this generation. I'm burnt out.
Red Dead Redemption, La Noire, Uncharted, Alan Wake have really become my favorites this generation. I hope to see more developers putting together some high quality third-person titles.
This game looks awful. I just don't get Kinect, you wave your hands around at the screen.
I've been wondering the same thing and agree that choice is a bit of an illusion. I was pretty excited with my 3 playthroughs of the first title to see how the outcomes would effect the 3 playthroughs of the next installment. I have to say that overall I felt the experiences were pretty much the same.
You start a relationship with Ash/Kaiden but they are a blurb in the second game. You save Wrex but you get to talk to him for a few minutes on his throne in the next. Y...
