If this is portrayed as "funny" it will only happen more and more until someone actually gets hurt.
Whether it be a streamer or a victim of another crime the police can not respond to because they are to busy with a fake call.
It is very real, look at the photos where not just Jordan is being searched but the office is being evacuated at gun point.
Also it depends on the severity of the fake call and how they portrayed the "active shooter" in how they respond.

This is a shameful act against an innocent person. Not to mention a waste of police resources and the time of everyone else in that office who were not the intended target of the "swatting" but were unfortunate victims.
There were xbox live issues from the DDOS. Reference the same Twitter page. Experienced issues myself.

I do agree with you though, some DDOS'ers doesn't equal hackers. Anyone with a few dollars to blow can have an online service shut down.

For me the game is getting smaller and smaller. I went from a must own to definitely passing on release day. The level cap was one thing, but for this HUGE game to only have 4 locations at launch, that's a part I can't let go.
You realize Twitch should have been doing this since the start right? Google isn't doing this. And a new version of Twitch would still have to abide by copyright laws, lest they want to be sued.
All that is being muted is the Video On Demand past broadcasts, not the actual stream.
Also Twitch was about live interaction and video games, not music.

Streamers are still allowed to stream copyrighted music, but they can not have it stored, which is why the VOD's are muted.

Did anyone read the contents of the Remastered Edition? Nowhere does it say all gun bundles and gestures. It includes the Map Packs from PS3 version and the Left Behind prequel story. Anyone who believed anything different is ridiculous. Learn to read.

You're right, I've seen 4k TV's playing native content, 1080p content, and 720p content. The upscaled 1080p and 720p aren't much better.
It's like playing SD content on an HD TV. Sure the TV upscales, but still looks bad.

Also the title refers to games "like" infamous "could" run at that resolution/speed, it's not saying the game runs 1080p/60fps.
Services like this, 4k streaming, etc... are creating the demand for faster internet speeds.

But 8 million pixels on a 32 or smaller inch monitor? I just can't imagine ALL of that detail being visible. Example, does a 1080p phone screen at 4 inches look that much better than 720p? Sure, but twice as good? not to me.
I'm sure it will look better than a 1080p or 2.5k monitors that are mainstream today. But will it look 4 times better than 1080p at that size?

The only problem with multi GPU configs, like SLI/Crossfire or even 2 in cards, like the r295x2, is the memory is not shared.
So if I have 2 3GB cards in SLI, I only have 3GB of VRAM, not 6GB. Reason is each card in the system has to render the image so the VRAM is not added together.
This patch seems like it's aimed at only the most enthusiast systems.
