Honestly it seems that the fan base just wants different guns and different maps.
Sales are on the rise with each game so far, and all that has changed in reality are the guns and maps.
I think they are giving the fans what they want.
I know people that buy Madden year after year after year.
Only minimal changes are made, when you look at the whole picture, but they keep buying them.
COD is doing the same thing. People keep demanding it, they will keep making it, that simple.
That 600hz on the plasma is sort of a marketing ploy. It really isn't the refresh rate, I believe it's called the Sub Field Drive Refresh Rate.
Plasma's, since they use gas, tend to measure their refresh rates different to make them seem much better than LCD and LED Tv's. Just a marketing trick.
A 120hz LCD TV will more than likely outshine a supposed 600hz Plasma.

Some schools give the macbooks out for free.
I went to Villanova University. They offer free macbooks, iPads, and Dell laptops from the Latitude lineup.
Depending on your college at the university you can choose the Apple products or a combo of Apple and Dell.
I went to the business school, which only gave me the choice of Dell at the time.
Not the same kind of 3D. This 3D is not stereoscopic, it uses the basic movie theater glasses.
Not the same experience.
Suppose we all have different experiences though.
I carry over a 2.0 on PS3, or did last time I checked, and do about the same when I play Xbox.
Haven't been playing much COD lately though since MW2, but competition felt about the same to me, depending on who you get matched with.
I've been "owned" on both consoles and have "owned" my fair share on both consoles.
The whole 360 players are better is...
@jdfoster00
Oh I agree, all games with death should be included, not just cherry picked titles. And you can kill people in Fallout
But Fallout is more gruesome in the way you kill people compared to COD and Battlefield. You can dismember people and mutants, etc...
Either way, I still don't agree that these games should get banned. That is why we have a ratings system, to regulate who interacts with the video game.
I think the "line crossing" sort of speak, deals with the interaction.
In a movie you don't interact with killing, in a video game you do. And in games like Fallout you have multiple ways of killing.
With that said, I think ratings regulate this sort of thing. Don't allow minors to purchase games rated M.
Could very well be, they also mentioned a custom lighting solution.
And for the PS3 owners complaining, I think DICE should be a bit more mature about the situation. I mean it is nice to see a developer just go back at those who want to hate, but it makes them look immature in the long run.
They should know by now that people are going to hate. When 360 footage is released I hope 360 owners don't express any kind of dislike, might get a feature removed....
I'd say the same sport, just a different strategy.
COD is going for more of a quick jump in a play fast passed shooter.
While Battlefield has always seemed to go for more realism.
ha, Plus the RSX is based of a 7800GT or GTX, form what I hear.
I for one never expected miracles, this is how consoles work, provide a static performance over a lifespan. Sure that performance might not be fully tapped at launch which is why we have better and better games throughout a consoles life cycle.
There is always a limit. Even on PC, but the PC limit goes away so fast that it seems it wasn't even there. Tech evolves quicker than Developers pr...
Same here, could be the reason they are keeping the game under raps for a little longer.
Doing production on the Wii U version.
Tachyon,
Ouch, that's a fail for Meta. An F could be anything between a 0 and 60, slightly different depending on what your used to.
There is a flaw with your "Graphics aren't everything" argument.
I like the games I play now better than the games I've played on previous consoles, not just because of the graphics, but because of the story telling evolution's, connection to characters, gameplay mechanic evolution's, etc... etc...
Some of them are aided by graphics of course, like immersion.
So even if graphics aren't everything, I would still w...
Exactly, they pick and choose who they want to hack. I highly doubt they do just anything the callers suggest.
For instance, say a caller says hack Intel, but Intel has a security measure Lulz isn't familiar with, I'm sure they wont do it.
But lets say a caller suggests hacking The Philadelphia Inquirer and the security layout is one they have experience with, they'll hack it, just to get their hack count up.
Good example, it is an opinion. But some reviewers take their opinions too far.
The review site that gave this game a 0 out of 10. That is just ludicrous, disrespectful, and down right wrong to do to the developer and readers.
If someone is that biased towards a series that they can not do an adequate, semi objective review, someone else on the site should do the review.
Low score reviews are fine, peoples opinions differ, but some low scor...
@sltPoison, I think he did that for comparative sake.
@Rageanitus, I'm sure the game has it's positives, most games do. And the review sites are just getting worse for the most part. Who was it that gave this game a 0/10? Seriously? A 0, was the game not included?
Deducting points just because they can has become some what of the norm at some sites, not all, who review games. I swear some just wait a few weeks just to put out the lowest score ...
Lol, then why bring up all those sales points?
But Kinect also benefited from the "Wow this is new factor" from the un-knowledgeable audience that joined gaming this generation and from the overload of marketing. (EDIT: Not saying people who bought Kinect are stupid, did not want to imply that, just meaning that they think "no controller" is new, that concept has been explored before in gaming.)
In reality I am surprised Move has "mo...
Your comment was the weakest of all the the trolling attempts, there I said it.
Sell it, doubt many will need it seeing as how EVERYONE who has been playing for a while now has Plus, or should have Plus, given they know about the welcome back program.
But you never know, throw it up on Ebay or something, see what you get.
