Since when is Sony or Nintendo or Microsoft our friends? The Sega Dreamcast didn't even get any EA games. Where is Street Fighter on the Xbox or Switch? We have had generations of deals to hold content from going to other platforms.
The PS4 is just too profitable to simply ignore so It would be foolish for Microsoft to spend this amount of money and then block games on the PS4. So i don't believe these rumors but if they did maybe business would carry on but Gamepas...
It may be a bit credible in the list but all those games coming out in 2018 is highly doubtful.
No it hasn't peaked. Isn't it's still above $200 retail?
They don't care because they have been hated for some time now. Battlefront II did lower than expected, that's the only thing they care about.
Electronic Arts have shown the growth of digital. Its very convenient but I want to keep the option of physical.
Looks like lots of money is being made. Almost half the people subscribed so I don't see the trend dying.
Why would anyone be sick of hearing about a game? If I'm not interested in something I ignore it, sounds like basic principles to me. Why do I get the feeling some like to just hear themselves complain.
The game looks great visually and I like the concept. Plus I'm eager to see Rare do something because it's been a long time. One big obstacle is like any game that relies on others, having the right people to play with. The other is like I mentioned, feedback so...
Atanasrikard, that's good to know but I'm going to wait and see first. I still have my reservations about the depth.
As for the other two responses let's just say it's more conjecture and all really to do with not being supportive at all in regards to anything Microsoft is doing. So my point still stands.
It's awesome to see console gaming still being taken seriously in Japan.
Companies do it all the time, like Best Place To Play, but in this case it's an opinion piece.
Read what I said 2pac. I already mentioned that I have valid concerns about it. For example maybe the game isn't going to be good if there is not much to do.
Complaining about it being online only (if you are unable to play online that's a different story) or bad mouthing it because it's a Microsoft title was my candid way of saying it means your not really into videogames. It was a joke but it's also true that some will downvote the game just because of tha...
This is true. They may take the crown for the most subscription models.
PS4 should easily take most systems sold but Nintendo may surprise us all with Nintendo Labo. They could really take off.
'If you don't want to give Sea of Thieves a chance because it's online only then you don't like games"
or
"if you don't like Sea of Thieves because it's coming from Microsoft then you have bigger issues"
fixed
I have a valid reason to be concerned, that is it looks rather empty and could get boring real fast if all you do is find treasure chests. Hoping the beta is just a small f...
Now other games will be able to plan release dates because this game gonna be huge.
He is not anti MS, he worked there for 13 years and said he learned more in 3 months there than all his time at Harvard. That is a positive experience, not a bad one. He left Microsoft to start up Valve. He has made derogatory comments about the Playstation 3 and has also shown concerns over Windows, Xbox Live and DX12. Which goes to show he is vocal but does not hold any grudges towards Microsoft and how they treated him. He also doesn't hold any grudges towards Sony. He just speaks his ...
What would the cost be, 20 billion?
You have a stronger argument that 'overall' sales would likely decline if they were only on Xbox/Windows as opposed to your suggestion sales would be lower on Xbox than they were before. Nintendo thought it was smart to have Bayonetta 2 only on their system enough to get Bayonetta 3. Other platforms owners were likely a bit upset but that's business and I can only imagine many will be upset if Microsoft goes after any third party publisher/developer but if they want to make their ...
So you're not interested in the growth and prosperity of the gaming division and are more concerned with how many Xbox systems they sold? It's been pretty clear since Phil took over he is more about growing gaming as a whole and not just how many Xbox's are sold. This was apparent once they announced they are supporting Windows pc, do you want pc hardware sales too that are running Windows 10?
Revenue grew 14% in Xbox hardware and the Xbox One X was $500 so you ...
From the looks of things the gaming division is doing pretty good. Maybe that is why we keep hearing rumors of more investment/acquisitions coming.
The fear is Microsoft buying titles that would otherwise be coming to other consoles. This is why I doubt even if they make a huge acquisition like Electronic Arts they would lock them away from profitable markets like the Playstation 4. I imagine big titles would get the same following as Minecraft and continue to be released on other consoles. Many questioned that acquisition back then and the amount they spent but it's been a good investment.
Whatever they do it wil...
