Then why are they doing it with PC if they don't need it? This isn't about needing it. There are enough players, it's called an option and from a consumer view it could be beneficial in long run to keep enough people playing. Some Playstation games are no longer active so they shut the game servers off so it's not like Sony is immune and has a large pool of players for every game.

There is a huge difference between being a viewer and those who spam the comments with hate speech and dumb comments. There needs to be better filters, that's all.
Game looks gorgeous and I like the animations but for bloody sake get rid of all those onscreen icons. Give players the option to turn all that stuff off. It's like games are made for beginners now, press square to do this, here is your enemy health bar, take this path over here. Of course he's talking about pc. If the Xbox One X is better than the PS4 the natural response is to then start talking about the PC, didn't you know that? They think by doing this it keeps money out of Microsoft's hands (which is the common theme here) but in reality Sony wants your money from third party support too. In fact they rely on it.
Sony is letting its games speak for themselves. What they are missing is somebody that has the charisma like Jack Tretton. I really like Kaz too but not the others.
Sony is holding its main games as leverage to buy the hardware. This is why it's taken so long for PS4 titles to get to Playstation Now. There's nothing stopping them from also releasing their new games on that service other than they think it will cut into hardware sales. They don't 'learn their lesson'. It was a deal made by two parties. We all know you guys don't like timed exclusives unless it's on the PS4, then all of the sudden it doesn't matter. We have seen port begging for Bayonetta 2 and 3 as well. With this game I doubt Microsoft wants to pay likely because they don't think it's needed and they appear pretty confident this year with what they have coming.
Where is the relation to No man's Sky? I don't see it at all because as far as I can tell they are not over-promising anything. That was No man's Sky's downfall was the hype and then the misguided promises. This game has been in beta for quite some time, some love it some think there's not enough content. Looks to me a 3 year cycle is going to be common now. PS4, 2013, PS4 Pro, 2016, PS5 2019, 2022 PS5 Pro.
