Eonjay, how is Sony serving your any better when they have Playstation Now and charge double and don't offer new games? They also don't trust their own members to decide on their own if services like EA Access is something they may like. Sony is not there to serve you, they are there to make money just like most private companies.
All these disagrees people carelessly like to throw around tells me they just don't like Microsoft no matter what they do.
Wouldn't having one system do it all be better? We have already seen how a more powerful console can actually improve older titles so to me the best scenario would be the PS5 playing PS4 titles and using its brute force like Beast Mode.
Are you suggesting their main competitor don't promote multiplat titles? Seems to me they too think they are awfully important given how each year they leave the busy season mostly to them. Have your also not seen the top sales each month, which games are the majority?
Some of you need to step back and stop playing system wars. This could be a cool way to show stuff instead of Microsoft's usual 'only at E3 and nothing else matters' attitude.
The X is the most powerful but it certainly is not the best. It needs games to showcase that power and it will never be able to do that since it's linked to the original Xbox One.
They have done a fantastic job post launch.

"An old game coming to a system mid to late in a platform's age. When BC use to mean day-one out of the box."
It's a free upgrade, why the concern?
"Now we're talking about an old title likely to come out before the newest, but only because the newest has not just been delayed but delayed a few years of its release."
It looks wonderful and the X manages to improve old titles and not c...
Horizon was setup for success. They had great marketing and they also have Sony and the PS4 success to help build that momentum. The same thing will happen with Detroit. If Detroit was a pc game it would have a tougher time selling to the masses because it would not get the marketing budget or the notoriety of being linked with the PS4 and its exclusive status, which also helps its future success. PS4 owners are more likely to focus on exclusives than pc gamers in comparison. This is why Hori...
Once again you are taking an article out of context to satisfy your own needs of wanting to curb any advantage the X has. There is a pattern you display that when you break it down really stems to your issues with Microsoft. This is why you comlicate things on purpose and bring up history so often.
This is not about enhancing multiplat titles and how it relates to sales. It is about the PS4 Pro being able to double 16-bit values unlike the X, but how the Xbox X can overcome...
The NRA does not mandate training for every gun user, so that is where you argument falls apart.
I get it, they require testing to drive a car but how do you enfoce how everyone drives once they are behind the wheel. You see, if people drive past the speed limit or other violations they can be ticketed. What restrictions is the NRA putting in place to help derail mass killings? They aren't, that is the issue to many. Nobody is suggesting they take guns away, they want ...
Of course they are not necessessary but not all games are as successful as the ones you mentioned. This business is very competitive and why many often fail, some studios even get shut down. Would microtransactions have helped them? No but they use it as an excuse to release games as a service now instead.
This ends up meaning less games being released by the big publishers because those games costs more to make, take longer to develop and now they want you the gamer to sta...
This could be the perfect game to deliver on the promise of cloud gaming along with games as a service if it's done right. Milking the consumer with a bare bones game, then added paid dlc and other microtransactions will be the death of it. Balancing that fine line can be tough. We don't expect developers to keep adding content and not getting paid but we also need to fill satisfied with our original purchase.
Its doing incredibly well and my guess is this year it will sell even better, but next year we will see sales drop off. My bet is before the end of 2019 we will see a revised system that is more powerful, something like the Switch Pro.
This one is getting excellent reviews, gonna have to check it out.

"The idiot who punishes himself coming into threads like these."
Wouldn't that be you then? If you can't temper your own expectations that's on you but we all know your expectations are so low that that isn't your problem. You just can't seem to be uplifted about anything and want to continue to drag down topics because you have history with Microsoft that you can't seem to let go of.
"And still I...
BECAUSE NINTENDO NEEDS TO HEAR HOW TO RUN THINGS.
Is it really entitlement to have to pay a subscription fee in order to utilize part of the game you bought, the online component? If everything was black and white gamers like me would have a greater respect. Hidden fees in the form of lootcrates, microtransactions and multiplayer fees is cowardly. If they need to charge $80 for a game that costs 100 million plus to create then charge $80. If servers costs money to run then have a monthly fee for that particular game.

They are rolling big time.
PS3 and Vita have had a good run, time to move on. Great month with Bloodborne
It is being created under the ID@Xbox program, no other consoles have been announced.
This is what happens when you put business decisions ahead of gamers. The Destiny franchise was created from the start to get a much revenue as possible through planned DLC and drip fed progression.
