This guy gives the most boring, information-free interviews ever. I saw him at Blizzcon 2 years ago and he was the same way there in person.
Agreed. Can we have a break Bloodmask?
I play WoW, but even I agree all these articles are a bit much. We really don't need n4g spammed for every mechanical change in the game the developers make, or even consider making.
And Blizzard has repeatedly said how it is a priority for it to be reasonable to level from 1 to max solo. It's part of the approachability of WoW compared to other MMOs.
What indicates them as "afterthoughts" other than having no capital city? It think it's more likely that the races were always planned, but blizzard either decided 3 capitals per faction were plenty, or their cities weren't done in time for launch and they just never looked back.
Indeed, if this is becoming the trend then it's a fair assumption that this is the price level that is maximizing Microsoft's profits. Baseless speculation saying "At $10 they'd sell three times more!" is all well and good, but realisically they'd probably sell something like 20% more (that number is also baseless speculation, but I believe the sales would far less than double), which doesn't necessarily bring in more profit.
Can it block Top 10 lists too please? :)
360 and PS3 were readily available after their respective holidays, about 3 months after release. Wii finally catches up with demand 29 months after release and it's a flop? Might want to check your math on that buddy.
"Sorry, my little rant is over.
Two companies I don't like, APPLE, and NINTENDO."
Hehe, just thought this was funny. Your rant had a little aftershock there.
Anyway, Wii is as far from "another Gamecube" as it could possibly be. Gamecube had great games (not TONS of them, but handfuls of them at least) and still didn't sell. Wii has sold in unprecedented volumes for the last 2.5 years, even without much solid software. Pola...
Well said mint. Chu, nice try.
Man, 3 years ago would anyone have believed that Nintendo would be unable to keep up with demand for the Wii for 29 months?? Still freakin unbelievable.
Everyone knows MS's next console will be Xbox 719. They add 359 to each one. Sheesh.
Worth it just for portal. The other 4 games are icing on the cake.
I hope it's something worth logging in for. Home could use one of those.
Ah, 74.125.79.132. I love that site.
KZ2 was released with 2 days left in February. The 600K(ish) people are quoting are a combination of the two NPDs.
Halo Wars DID release in March, there were no sales prior to this report.
Indeed. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound, ironically-named "Unbiased"? Calling Halo Wars a flop and then your next words saying KZ's numbers are decent, when the KZ numbers are slightly lower.
I'm guessing there's a 1 on your name because your first account lost all its bubbles? This one's not far behind.
Really? This is "news"? That was purely just the forum mod joking that they always say a patch is "soon", so he stopped midword and said promptly instead. The patch tomorrow is likely, but next week is just as likely.
Of course they are opinion. If not opinion, what are they? Fact?
I have never, ever seen a respectable reviewer or review site claim that their reviews are anything else.
It's working for them though. At least in America, their main audience is not the type to pirate games. Nintendo is still printing money, and sacrificing security for accessibility really might be the best call for them.
Ouch. We knew the game was doing pretty poorly when they merged servers, but that number is about half what I would have guessed. Looks like the only WoW killer we're ever going to see will be Blizzard's next MMO.
