Well, balancing the classes in combat against each other is only half of it. They are also constantly struggling to balance them in how they perform against bosses and other PVE content. The "rock, paper, scissors" system can't really be applied there at all.
Wow Foobs, having a bad day? I can't fathom how this could upset someone as much as it seems to have upset you.
The long and short of it is that if gamers keep doing exactly what they are doing anyway, they are likely to get a few dollars' worth of MS points out of it. What's bad about that?
But, if the people in the program completely ignore the program and continue gaming as usual, they are likely to get a couple bucks' worth of points. What's bad about that?
that there must have been issues with the development of Kameo 2. If it was coming along on schedule and looking like a solid title, they would not just can it. Most likely there were problems with the timeline or direction that played into the decision that they would rather put the resources into Natal.
There are Wii fanboys on this site? Where?
Oh man, it really shows the bias on this site when two trolls make equally absurd claims about MS and Sony rigging the numbers, and one poster gets an overwhelming majority agrees, and the other gets overwhelming disagrees.
Oops double post.
Touché, I don't usually watch bonus round so I forget that he's a regular on there. I don't know why they put him on there either.
I'm not sure you understand that he's not talking to us. He is an analyst for a finance management firm and he is talking to potential investors in these gaming companies. So yes, he is just reading reviews of the game and regurgitating what he finds... THAT IS HIS JOB. His intended audience would never spend time reading video game reviews.
The question is why the gaming community hangs on his every word. Literally every time he speaks in public it ends up a hot story on N4G, an...
A movie can't have a main character that never takes off his helmet.
I think prices will stay about the same, but I fear we'll say goodbye to the ability to buy great games for $20-30 a year or less after their release. The distribution of older retail games on Xbox and other sources is usually very overpriced compared to the discs on store shelves.
Steam does a good job of keeping prices on aging games competitive though... hopefully other distributors follow its lead.
This definitely looks good, and I loved NSMB on the DS. Has there been any word on price point? Full $50? This being a full priced game felt fine on the DS, but I would have to think twice before paying $50 for it on Wii.
I can't believe meeting GLADoS was just an honorable mention at the end, and not in the top 5. Absolutely one of my favorite gaming moments.
I don't think anyone has said that in years, since the console was in its infancy. Why do you feel the need to argue with people who are sitting quietly?
The whole video game journalism industry exists to tell consumers what to buy and what not to buy... what do you think a review is?
Argh, I don't understand why the Call of Duty games never have multiplayer achievements. After beating the single player once, I have much more fun playing multiplayer than I would struggling through single player again on Veteran, so I find myself wishing at least some of the Gamerpoints were awarded there. The experience and challenge systems seem tailor-made for achievements. If there was, say, a 10-point achievement for each level of prestige mode that would keep the carrot dangling almos...
Sure he's wrong as often (or more often) than he's right, but what financial analyst isn't? I'm actually very familiar with the firm Wedbush Morgan, since I work for the firm that audits it. It is pretty solid, educated, and professional.
The twitter functionality in Xbox 360 and Uncharted 2 are completely different. 360 lets you tweet and follow your friends through the interface, while Uncharted's connection to twitter primarily (exclusively?) consisted of automated posting about in-game accomplishments.
Liking apples and hating oranges doesn't make you a hypocrite.
