I just want the hitboxes to line up and the map design to not be retarded. Then I will be a happy bunny. The last shooter to do that, for me, was CoD4.

The recommended seemed fairly accurate (for what a developer would say). But I suppose they must be fake because the minimum doesn't say 8800GT or 9800GT like every other game :P

As a word of warning, don't expect a 460 to run it maxed out at nice frame rates without input lag.

Anyway, even proper published specs often have a lot of speculation or assumptions to them.

CPU cores + speed, RAM quantity and GPU type are only small factors...

The graphics card recommendation is a bit of a lie, I would suspect a 460 to suffer if you have any tessellation on or a few other settings up at max - even at a resolution of 1680x1050, a lower res than that should run decent though (i.e. 40+ fps most of the time while nearly maxed out).

Tessellation really does put a lot of work onto the gpu and in most cases should be reserved for the very high end (6950/570 or better if single gpu). But they probably assume that people pl...

Consoles are designed with price to performance ratios in mind, then they use efficient manufacturing and design quirks to squeeze out extra performance - they don't have to be plug 'n play like PCs remember. So the initial SKUs tend to launch at a loss because they are cutting edge (when the 360 came out, it was better than a high-end pc). After a year or 2 passes, because of the industry progression it becomes cheaper to make a machine of the same performance - so they can begin mak...

"big"
... go for a small provider then.

If there was no possible way to get proper net, I would probably migrate to somewhere else in the world.

Why should western countries' populations suffer restricted net but in a way that doesn't even remotely curb the piracy where it is at its largest: Eastern europe, russia, china, south america and south-east asia. Most of these regions will never restrict connections due to piracy, some of t...

Annoying trends:
# Motion gaming (we should leave it at the wii and be done with it tbh)
# 3D (but u can turn it off so meh)
# Crappy MMoS that are guaranteed to fail from the instant anybody sees the first screenshot. Then they go on and keep making the damn things... millions down the drain. That would be all the ones on their way except SWToR and GW3.

"I hate when you download a "new" mission or character, only to just be unlocking what was already on your disc."

If they are genuinely doing that then they are breaking all kinds of laws. You already own the rights to use any digital content on that disk, they can legally say anything they want in their eula though but they can't always legally back it up. I think what they usually do is recycle a lot of content that was on the disk, like textures, mo...

buy it on PC pat, it's rather cheap on steam and should run smooth on any modern-ish PC. Probably won't even need dedicated graphics.

hmm... it must have dedicated servers then. Otherwise how do they justify charging people for using other people's bandwidth? (peer 2 peer). Oh... M$ already do that one.

"The agreement that we signed last year, concerned only the distribution of The Witcher 2 for the PC. The records were carefully clarified to avoid any ambiguity"

And this is why publishers can go and burn in hell for trying to steal the developers' well-deserved earnings. CDPR knew they would try it lol.

"Below 80 - Garbage. This game is not worth your time."

Stopped reading at that line. I have played many amazing games that scored less than 80/100 or 8/10 or 4/5 etc.

And.... it's a joke article anyway lol. Had to go check it based on some of the comments here.

RRoD is bigger than hot coffee. Also, it can't be as little as 23% lol (because its a design flaw and therefore 100% of original and first elite release machines will succumb to it if used enough), also - everybody I know who owns or has owned an xbox has had RRoD, that would be 100% in that particular 'test group'. Maby 23% of xboxes currently in use could still have it happen though.

Finally! Somebody else on here who doesn't think BF
has perfect hitboxes.

Secondly, Sony have monster hunter, which is extremely popular in the handheld scene right now.

Arma 2 has the buggiest AI I have ever seen. Though maby it was just struggling to run on my rig, because obviously a 3GHz quad with sli 9800gt cards should be running it at 10fps.
