of course it will sell out, every console does at launch and nobody doubts that.
the question is always, one the hardcore fans have bought it, will casual/average gamers go for it...and of course having so few units available, will make sure they sell out.
in the end the winner will be declared by whatever means make the movies companies most profitable.
quality means nothing to them, $$$$ do. the only reason fox and disney are supporting blu-ray is because blu-ray promised to make copying more difficult, loyalty means nothing to them, and they would all switch to a new format next year if it increases their bottom line.
The only thing that would dissapoint me, would be no online co-op.
other than that, this is like the holy grail of gaming for me...

The point of the article is not about if this is a key launch title, it's the fact that one of the developers HAS NO IDEA WHAT SONY IS DOING WITH THEIR "AMAZING/FREE" ONLINE SERVICE.
and less than 2 months to launch, for the geniuses who can't read between the lines, that is a BIG f**king issue.
I hope they both fail, they are both very minor improvement, and are just a money grab as they are both going to be outdated capacity-wise in about a year or 2.
all of the consumer reviews I've read are telling people not to invest in either format, at least not yet, which of course slows technology as a whole.

it's ok, I'm sure sony doesn't quite know what they are doing online yet, hence why xfire is being used for 1 games, I'm sure something else for another game.
Online is going to be a huge part in this round of consoles. sony better get their arse in gear, if they don't wan to end up with the same dissapointing online service they had with the ps2.

The ps3 launch titles should had better be much better loking than the 360 launch titles. Developers have had an extra year to program for next gen systems, where as most of the 360 launch titles were ports from ps2/xbox.

graphics look somewhat next-gen, a bit better than some of the 360's launch titles, but with a year to fine tune stuff, I would expect a bit more.
