If this is a copy of the psp interface I can see why people are complaining...looked quite annoying.

you guys forget that we are mostly the hardcore gamers/early adopers aka the alpha males,(well of technology anyway). So we buy the stuff early, we have the HDTV's, we have the high end PC's cause that's what we like, but we are not the casual gamers, which make up the mass market.
and your mention of 300$ mp3 players, and 500$ cameras is completely different, those are about average prices for those devices(maybe a little less, but whatever) but that's what people expect to pay...
