like seriously, who cares, show me what the systems can do, the power between the 2 is so close, is it really going to matter? no.
it will all come down to what developers wants to do.
This console round is about software(aka titles) and online, fun, period. and with the race set to be so close, it's nice to know who the winners will be...us.
I'm betting between 15-20, if their launch window is nov-march
here is some advice for a successful ps3 launch. HAVE SOME FRAKING UNITS AVAILABLE.
having stock is always a key to be able to sell the hardware. marketing 101 D'UH...
shouldn't be long till some ps3 fanboy comes on and compares how good a ported launch title compared to something that's had a year to be improved.
and to be honest, after a year, pretty dissapointing, this looks the same for the most part, maybe a little better. although fight night for the 360 looked really good graphically anyway, UI don't how good they could have done it without rebuilding the engine from the ground up anyway.
looks like a good game, graphically about the same as COD3, which looks great.
This game is going to be to constantly compared to GOW as they are both looking like the "killer app" for their respective systems this xmas, so get used to it.
and enough with the GOW comparisons to killswitch, I mean seriously, if that's the case, the RFOM is compying any other FPS out there.
I don't like the no vehicles online thing, that sucks.
that says it all right there, and if blu ray fails(I'm not saying it will, so stay in your seats fanbots) but IF it does, sony is pretty much sunk.
seems odd for it not to play DVD's. but the GC didn't do it either, so I don't think folks will expect it. would have been nice though.
I am prediciting at least 1 death/hospitalization from someone getting jumped for a PS3...which is funny and very sad all at the same time.
job well done sony.
FYI they were so late receiving their dev kits, cause sony is running out of them:)
I mean for 7-8 $, try it out. if it doesn't work, go and spend the real dough and get a brand one. if it does work you've saved 40-90$. and after the ps3 break your wallet blues, you'll need it:)
I wonder which brand of rubber gloves they use when taking the money?
-ouch!
I'm not sure the ratio, would be good numbers to get, but I imagine most of the people on XBL are gold members, I agree with #22. online is totally where it's at for me, the single player I usually finish just so it's done, but if online multiplayer isn't good. the game won't get my $$$$
3 out of the top 5 are 360 exclusive, and all 5 will/are available on the 360. nice.
I still can't believe that this is a "game". but I will at least be renting it...seems like a laid back, no brainer:)
advertising for the system at major matches shortly after you ruined kids christmas's?
NIIIIIIIICE ONE SONY:)
@shpinx - that was funny
so what, they are going to use different connection types for each game?
do they even know yet? are they leaving how people are going to connect to each game up to the developer?
they had better do something good and fast, the vultures are circling.
Can I get the few minutes of my life back that I wasted reading this?
seriously, report it, don't make it a news story, it demeans the whole site...
the holographic ones, and the bug poop ones could be commercially available within 2 years.
and their storage capacity makes blu-ray + hd-hd-dvd look like a freakin floppy disk...
sony is trying to take on the worlds largest software manufacturer, who's OS is run on 95% of the computers on the internet. MS is gearing xbox live, with live messenger, which now works with yahoo messenger, and is going to be integrating games/chatting/messenging between console, PC, cell phones. As well they are integrating media bewteen all the various media devices.
you can't just partner up with someone and hope to try and take them out. Sony has one hell of an uphill battle ...
it's just a really old article, or done currently by someone who JUST read the really old article...sigh
