and they will have to have a rep at everyone to reboot it and keep the fan blowing on it if TGS was any indication:)
good job MS, gues they learned a lesson. now let's see if it translates into sales...
watch the arrogance square, look where it got sony, people were very unimpressed with "the next genereation doesn't start till we say so".
and while square may decide the winner in japan(DUH) they will have less impact in US/Europe(in fact maybe square can show sony where europe is)
sega has no idea what sony is doing online yet(as confirmed with virtua tennis). so they can't confirm they're bringing the classics there yet.
no shocker, I can't imagine how anyone would think it would be.
but I can't see it happening.
I don't like the BS marketing that sony has done. I also don't like the forcing a format on their fanbase, but do I want them to dissapear? part of me says yes, cause their arrogance deserves it, but most of me says no.
The best thing true gamers could hope for is a perfect 3 way race for 1st, which will bring out the innovation and excellent competition for our dollars.
you already see it with MS in Japan, tons of RPG's coming, some of the best looking stuff @ ...
the problem, that even a fanbot like yourself should be able to see, is the constant story changes from sony(no hdmi in the low end, now there is, no price drop, now there is, supports 7 controllers, now 4, maybe 7, it goes on and on and on). It causes a lack of confidence from the consumer, and will end up hurting their bottom line. sorry I had to spell it out for you, but I though it was obvious.
will they just make up their freaking mind and launch the damn thing???
but seriously, so few people have a TV with 1 HDMI, even less have 2. and of those that do have 2, I doubt they are in the same room.
jees...
I just bought it friday. Way more fun thatn I thought it would be.
I'm hooked...now I must go buy a bigger place for all my cars:)
they need to get the stuff they are showing off at e3 in stores as quick as possible to have any effect on slow slaes.
Doubt it, their global share just increased as apple's dropped by about a percent this year. so they are back up to about 95%.
but quit wasting space fanboy, go and drool over a half assed ridge racer screenshot or something.
congratz to folks in India, enjoy, many more countries to follow!
so with shaw you must be in western canada?
mighty boink for those who want to add me
cheers!
most of the people at the show seem to say differently, but everyon is entitled to their opinion...
I think this will be the sleeper hit.
it looks like so much fun/carnage, I can't wait!
@ 24, so he's just turning it on? and what's the fan he has there for? maybe it's a heating fan cause the ps3 runs too cold?
sigh...
sony could have beenn smart in seeing their competitor had issues, and then made sure that it doesn't happen to theirs.
seeing as how they have had an extra year to get it right...which they obviously haven't learned anything from the launch 360's.
and it's not 1 out of 200, the article said ps3 were going down all over the floor.
new definition of HYPOCRITE:
quote DJ:"We have total control over what we pay for instead of having $50 taken from us by default every year. The key word in that article is "possibly". Paying 50 cents or a buck for an exclusive demo sure beats paying $2.50 for worthless horse armor that doesn't even do anything.
Sony gives us choice while Microsoft requires a $50 annual admission fee for online play, then charges extra on top of that. Not everything on S...
they are the luckiest people in the world...
no, but the ps3 is gearing up to be a big xmas turkey.
There were reports of systems crashing all over the place. and that was still with systems having a ps3 on top, but the games really running on pretty much a dev kit underneath.
developers dropping online play because they don't know what sony's doing a month and a half before launch doesn't fill me confidence for some reason.
Nobody doubts that the 360 had it's launch issues, and the ps3 will have theirs ...
