Update: Nintendo previously announced that they’ll use TSMC to produce the eDram parts from now on.
Point proven... Target doesnt even know what they are selling ....

Lowest review I think I've seen it given.
Even if they called it the Nintendo U it would have been better than the Nintendo Wii U ... The Wii U has a lot of things working against it .. it is the little things that add up and cause problems..
Pikimin has spiked sales a bit and im just hoping once the library gets a bit more developed things will turn around.
Every single Wii being sold is a potential Wii U customer lost. Part of the issue I think is when you go to walmart or target all the games for the Wii and Wii U are mixed up ... the only difference being the box..
Also the retail box for the deluxe and the black wii U are very similar... Like I said before .. with every purchase of a normal Wii you lose a potential Wii U customer.
I am actually worried that in order for the Wii U to succeed they will need to actually stop selling the orginal Wii.
If they decide to include DLC and all of the next gen updates I will buy ... That includes Dog Tech, Fish AI, Dynamic Environments, Higher Textures, and Arm Hair...
If they don't try and just give me a port of the xbox 360 version then no....
One thing to take into consideration since the PS4 is a unified memory pool .. the video card has less to draw on now because of the OS memory restrictions.
My guess is the system is behind in its development cycle and they dont have time to full optimize the ram usage of the OS at launch.
People were saying the same thing about the 3DS after 6 to 8 months.. Then what happens??? 259.99 to 179.99 and Mario Kart 7 and a slew of first party titles... Then came the 3DS XL at 199.99 and things went crazy... 1 to 2 million turned into 30+ million sales to date.
Fall theory...
I personally think that the PS4 and X1 are going to help Nintendo relaunch the hardware come holiday time.. The people who dont know what the Wii U is or dont know it is out wil...
True.... According to EA iOS can do that and then some.
The important part is whether the Wii U version is going to get dog tech, arm hair, Fish AI, and falling logs.
I dont think people realize that system driving games sell through at 15 to 20% of its user base.
COD an established known system driving franchise sells at roughly 15 to 20% of the entire base... of the 70 Million units of 360 or ps3 COD of any iteration generally sells at 10 to 15 million per console in its life time per game.
I dont understand why people expect Pikmin of all games to sell at 20% of the existing base without being an established franchise.....
Another thing to take into consideration is that it is easier to make games within x86 vs power pc and cell ... So at what point are we going to keep saying "Imagine what it will look like in 3 years".. This gen is much different than the prior because the tool sets have been simplified to a format that developers have already been using.
I thought the whole point of x86 was to make stuff easier on the devs so that there is a smaller little learning curve to make qu...
I think the type of wow factor he was looking for could be comparable to how PC games evolved..
When you went from Wolfenstein -> Doom -> Quake 1-3 .. There were ground breaking changes made to each iteration of the game. Ranging from full 3D enviroments to GL and internet game play ....
Games have really just hit a wall in general ... You are not going to be wowed by anything because the jump from standard def to high def is gone ... that added element...
I don't understand why people are so against DLC .. As a PC Gamer first I have been dealing with DLC type additions almost since I started gaming... There is nothing wrong with an expansion or extra maps..
I ask myself daily why Nintendo hasnt done DLC for Nintendoland adding more maps for each of the attractions.. It is a great way to breath life into a game that may start to get stale... Mario Chase and Candy Rush are huge at parties I throw and I wouldnt mind paying 2...
If you look at the DLC Nintendo has released like Super Luigi U you should realize you get a hell of a lot more out of it than other iterations of DLC on other consoles. Luigi U was practically an entire stand alone game for 20 bux...
Sorry I forgot counter-strike 5.2... I shouldn't have lol I played it competitively through its official release... I still play cs go even tho it isnt the same...
Gotta go back to the glory days of Doom, Quake, and Unreal Tourney.. that was when it was pure and just!
Look at how many ported games ran on the Wii U without much of an issue without an immense amount of optimization... Some of them actually had PC Textures also like Need for Speed and Trine...
The games that ported over to the Wii U from the 360 and PS3 were late gen releases.. It took those consoles almost to the end of their lifespan to be able to produce that kind visual fidelity.. The Wii U is running all those ports on roughly 1.2ghz and at less than half the wattage (33...
