I ended up buying COD the other day for 25 bux and I have to say I am impressed with how well it plays in 2 player mode with one person only using the tablet and another using the pro controller on the TV.. Online worked pretty well and had alot of active players..
I have posted this several times .. If you take into consideration what you get it actually isnt as pricey as the other systems..

A lot more than actual parts go into making a controller... They have to price out the R&D and time it took to add those features to the controller.
Also other things could be affected like weight, battery life, and general aesthetics..
Not including it with every standard console gives devs a level of uncertainty when trying to develop a game for the console. Why spend man hours and money to make it compatible with the eye if the attach rate is going to ...
Personally if they werent going to include the eye sensor they should have changed some of the features in the dual shock 4... The controller is going to be more expensive because of the features included to work with the eye.
Also what happens to all the developers who are making move games? Their install base now is greatly reduced.
Not including it is going to make the eye toy an after thought rather than a mainstay like the Kinect.
Nintendo could easily have taken all the play mechanics from all the games they have released recently and put them into new IPs and people still wouldnt be happy..
Nintendo reinvents its existing ips rather than releasing new ones every year. They have literally said this much in plenty of interviews.. They look for ways to inject freshness into their existing ips instead of creating new ones.. NEW IP and top of the line hardware dont always mean FUN.

I think once the initial demand dies down from launch we can establish if both the x1 and ps4 will hold their sales momentum..
Last gen was sooo long that it has pushed demand up for new gen systems so much that I dont think we can tell if they are both going to be wildly successful in the distant future.

The Wii U is not useless without the sensor bar.. It is actually optional and does not need to be plugged in unless you intend on using IR functionality of the wii remotes.. Pro controllers can be used for most all games as well in addition to the game pad. Also you can use your prior sensor bar if you wanted.
Also the ps plus version of drive club will give you some content but you have to PAY for additional cars and tracks... You arent getting a FULL game like you would wit...
Interesting that they said the X1 version will be better than the PC version... In light of all the cloak and dagger dev kits they had at E3 do we even know that the demo they showed us was playing on an X1?? It could have been a PC like articles have been stating
Also, unless they actually nerf textures and graphic fidelity on the PC...I dont see how a computer could not play and look better than the X1 version if they used the exact same assets...

EA is prolly so mad right now.. They gave the X1 so much press and pumped it up so hard based on the X1 having DRM... I wouldnt doubt that they got rid of their season pass program because of the X1 and its used game policy..
Most PC gamers will tell you a game running on an Nvidia card will look a bit different than a game running an AMD card even if all the settings are the same..
One thing to take note of is they could have been running all the settings similar to what the X1 is capable of .. but if you are using better hardware you are going to get better performance without having to optimize for it...
Also windows 7 may perform better than windows 8 with all the processes it...
On the Fallon preview they stated the console will be out November 2013... How on earth are these guys going to get their games up and running without incident by then on the X1 hardware if they are using Dev kits that are even similar to the final hardware....
During Fallon they also mentioned the X1 is 3 times the power of the 360... A 700-series Nvidia GPU is way more than 3 times the power of a 360.. .I think we all can expect the games showed at e3 to not look as good on...
I currently own a 32 gig model and have several games that have updated.. I also have downloaded most all the demos available on the eshop to test games... ALSO I have downloadable titles like Tank Tank, Trine, and Nano assault and I have 0 issues with space at this point (not using an external harddrive at all)... The cost of a 500 gig external harddrive is the price of about 1 game (50 to 60$ on newegg)
