I dont understand why you need ground breaking Killzone graphics for Smash Brothers??? I think the graphics as they look now in all the play test demos look amazing... Also in the demos it looked fluid enough to be 60 fps... 1080p @ 60 fps with great HD visuals is what im observing... Everyone always wants more.. but at this moment the game looks awesome.
If you are a true Nintendo gamer you wouldnt be hinting at an OR ELSE in your statement... What happens if the graphics do...
The game is confirmed to be 1080p.. And I will also assume it is going to run at 60 fps since it is a fighter...
I actually think the game looks really good graphically... It is going to be crisp and smooth at 1080... what did everyone expect it to look like Tekken?
Also I am sure they will be adding a few more they didn't want to disclose at the conference.. I did hear rumblings they may reduce the roaster by characters that aren't played often.
looks good
Sony wont need to sell for less to win sales... Why go for 399 or 449 .. if you can match the 499.99 and not look like a bad guy and just win because you have less DRM and no Kinect?
Unless sony bursts everyone's bubble and says ok... We have DRM and a few other undesirable things... Sony can HOLD serve by just saying 499.99 and have people choose based on preference.. They wont sell for less to beat MSFT on price .
Makes sense since they have the most polish and are being released in the near term. Those games are being released between now and September..
I'd imagine Smash and Kart will be later this year around the holidays. Makes more sense to demo games that are releasing quicker.
You really going to sell your Wii u if you have to wait longer?
Nintendo is going to have a large booth with several stations for the Wii U and several games.. So I fail to see how CNN or Fox are going to miss the massive Nintendo sign and section on the show floor...Also Nintendo will packing a few select Best Buys with demo units and games that have yet to be released.. that will create general buzz among local news stations when the lines build up.
Every single gaming website is going to link or cover Nintendo Direct.. So I fail to see...
"Because E3 is in the general public eye.
Pointed this out before, but Nintendo Direct events are called direct events for a reason. I just don't see how they can reach new customers when you have to have Nintendo product to watch them on"
ROFL .. E3 is not the general public eye... new customers dont watch E3 at all let alone spike ... New customers are influenced by their friends who are most likely avid gamers... Times have changed twitter a...
They arent conceding anything... They will have 2 private stage shows for gaming media and analysts and allow them to avoid the show floor rush to actually test games...
The people going to the LARGE stage shows are the same people Nintendo invited to the private shows.. So I fail to see how what they are doing is bad? Not having a stage show doesnt mean they wont have a booth ... They will still have a large booth at E3..
Nintendo Direct is replacing their s...
E3 is pretty much a tradition now and everyone pretty much agrees it has lost some of its luster the last few years. Social media and online marketing is so good now you don't have to hold one huge stage show every year. Nintendo is taking advantage of the media frenzy during e3 week by holding several Nintendo directs instead of a 1to 2 hour stage show where they squeeze everything in.
They can film Nintendo directs days in advance and cut and recut footage of it for sev...
I think I have mentioned it several times.. But they are holding 2 press conferences for press and website/bloggers. These conferences are the exact same thing youd see on the show floor... They are going to have a booth as they previously stated...Also Nintendo Direct is going to serve as their online media.. Every single major site is going to cover Nintendo Direct.. having a Direct is no different than me sitting at home and going to another site to see the big show coverage... Again they ...
The X1 is going to come with the new more advanced Kinect bundled with each X1 console ... The current Kinect is selling for 100 bux right now and was about 150 or so on release (which should wash against the price of the tablet)... The xbox CPU by the numbers is going to be faster with more cores, it has 4 times the ram, and also has a 500 gig harddrive vs the 32 gig flash drive the Wii U has....
The PS4 was shown with a new and improved controller on top of a new playstatio...
It doesnt make sense that the X1/Ps4 are going to sell for 399/349.... Unless the X1 is charging more for Live to offset selling their hardware for that much.
The Wii U released at 300 and 350 ... Are you telling me with better tech both the X1 and PS4 are going to sell for the same price / 50 more than the Wii U Deluxe?????
I am fairly certain you will have to add 100 bux to each of those prices to accurately represent how much they will be charging... Most ...
I think they are going to stick to 720 / 1080 only because most TVs native resolutions are going to be at those aspect ratios.. Picture quality is at its best when a game is performing at the native resolution of the TV and or monitor.
I think a developer would rather do 1280 by 720 and squeeze in more AA, AF, and whatever other eye candy they want rather than going to a higher resolution and lower those settings.
Higher resolution doesn't always mean be...
360 / PS3 were able to run the previous iterations at 60fps with lower textures and resolution.
Blackops 2 (varying degrees of AA)
360 - 880x720
PS3 - 880x720 with resolution scaling to 832x624 in some areas.
Based on what the previous consoles did with Blackops 2 the PS4 and x1 should be able to run the new iteration of COD at 1280 by 720 with higher textures and better AA @ 60 fps easily. One thing they werent clear on and didnt mention was...
I am just a bit skeptical with Sony over promising and under delivering on some of their statements.
Has anyone used the Vita cross play or remote play and what was the performance like?
Pretty much every video I come across has the same input. It doesnt work with most games and when it does work it is pretty laggy and or choppy.
You can build a huge library of TOP PC games on steam for a fraction of what it costs on console.. Also I disagree with the notion that console gamers play more games than PC gamers... PC GAMERS have alot more variety when it comes to games at a more affordable price.
The crazy part about steam is the deals run so often and are so good there is no reason not to buy games to build your library up with ... I got Deus Ex Human revolution for 7.99 and that game is WELL worth 30+ ...
The only reason consoles are able to do what they do with limited hardware is because developers have to program for 1 to 3 different platforms for 5 years... They have to squeeeeeeze every ounce of juice they can out of what they have and make it work as best as possible. So they may optimize the use of a multicore / multithread / ram better than a PC because it doesnt have as many different platforms to focus on.
You dont need to do that as much on a PC because they are so ...
Pretty much every report is saying that the Mario 3D World plays differently than 3D Land.. Granted they used it as a starting point there are several people who dont own a 3DS that havent had that experience yet..
To me personally I love everything they showed at E3, had they not had a direct about what games were coming and just announced all these games I think people would be a little more impressed about what happened (excluding stream issues).. I was a little down abou...
