Regardless of what it does people would still complain. The system isn't for everyone and people need to recognize that and move on.
No console has ever satisfied everyone, that is why people end up buying more than one box per generation .
LOL .. I am a PC Gamer and I dont know ANY PC that would BLOW away the Wii U for just 150$..... You would have spend a bit more than that lol...
You do realize it is running PORTS of games from the 360 / ps3 generation that took them multiple years to make out the gate with limited problems?
You are telling me that the Wii U can handle X but it cant handle kingdom hearts?? Give me a break .. They have a version of the game on the 3DS with upgraded graphics... The Wii U GPU has all the specs necessary to run DX11 content as the previous post stated.
Plain and simple third parties are scared of doing anything on the Wii U until the sales start improving ..
The game is being published by NINTENDO.. You cant take a game multi platform if the publisher wont allow it lol...
Bayonetta sold roughly 1M copies across the ps3 and 360... Generally speaking anything less than 1 million sales is considered under performing when talking about a ps3 and 360 game.. Cost of development on the previous gen consoles for a game like Bayonetta is really high so no one was willing to publish the squeal...

I believe you can also play off screen as well... I think a lot of people take for granted the off screen ability of the Wii U...Even if the game doesnt have this awesome intuitive way of integrating the tablet you still can do offscreen in most games..
People automatically assume if you arent using the tablet for asymmetrical game play it is a bust...I cant tell you how many times I have used this feature while my wife does something else with the TV.
Would have been cooler if it was online as well.. but I'll take what I can get for now. Hopefully the game sells well and maybe they add it somehow.
I am hoping it is not the game on that Super Secret Release list we saw earlier this year... Mario Galaxy 2.5 ... basically the Wii game with updated graphics, miiverse, and some additional levels..
Nintendo has gone a little soft lately .. hopefully they aren't mailing it in to increase sales of the console... then after it is up there they take more risks on development.
If Nintendo didnt have numerous Nintendo Directs through the year these games would have all been received much much better... If they came to E3 and announced all these titles and then had them all playable on the show floor I guarantee everyone would be going nutz right now about getting so many exclusives... Because we knew they were coming they arent as exciting.

I have always had a sweet spot for Nintendo games because I came from mainly a PC background... I did play most every console as they came out with a list of certain games.. but I mainly loved PC gaming...
One thing I like about Nintendo that is different from Sony or MSFT is that it offers a completely different experience than what I get on the PC or any other console.. The graphics I am seeing on the ps4 and xbone dont honestly impress me because ive already been playing C...
It is a pretty much commonality now amoungst pc rig builders now that your CPU is no longer a bottle neck... Once you reach the i3,i5,i7 type cpu... You can pair that with a really good video card and be fine for a very long time...
My buddy has a last gen intel cpu prior to the i series and he just got a brand new GPU and his rig is about as good as anything newer that is on the market.
This is part of the reason Nintendo chose to go GPU heavy on their cons...
The announced 3 characters villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Megaman... all of which I think are great additions.. Villager and Wii Fit Trainer are hilarious additions that I can see people in my circle playing and having a blast just laughing at her moves when she dominates people... The game is due next year so they are still tweaking the graphics and adding more characters.. This is what it looks like now and it is pretty good looking.. same goes for Mario Kart... what we seeing are early bui...
There was an article recently where a MSFT rep had said your "family" wouldnt need birth certificates for verification, which lead people to believe there isnt an authentication process. So people derived from that friends could be within your "family"...

Last gen I bought everything (over time when prices lowered)... This gen I already bought a Wii U on launch (love it) and have a PS4 on preorder.. I simply dont know where MSFT is going with its console and wont get one until I do.

I already own a Wii U and currently enjoy all the games that are out.. the indie / virtual console games are keeping me busy along with NSMB U / Rayman challenge app.

As a PC gamer I will tell you that expense wise after you have a good PC you wont have to worry about much expense when it comes to games. Steam gives you a good avenue to get tons of games for cheap especially if you miss a lot of them through the year. On thing you will miss is a lot of exclusives that only come out on console.
My issue with MSFT and Sony is that a lot of the games that are being released are shooters.. Third person or first person.. most the mainstream one...
LOL the game is being released in 2014... and we dont know when .. They have plenty of time to add players... and I dont think it is a bad thing to add some comedy to the lineup with the Wii Fitness trainer... I myself can see people playing her and just cracking up when she lays the smack down.

I think one thing you cant really debate with most of Nintendos games is that they all have a certain level of polish .. As much as I thought I wouldnt like New Super Mario Bros U because I had the orginal Wii version I was pretty wrong.. It looked great and played great and felt fresh...

We got 13 exclsuives to keep us busy until the next real Zelda and whatever else ninteneo has in the pipeline. It isnt like the games we are getting are crap... They all are extremely polished and look great. They aren't going to show all their cards now prior to the holidays.
