Announcement maybe but I really can't see it releasing until 2011, same with the Killzone 3 rumors. 2 years seems to be the de facto development time for sequels this gen. I just can't see Sony rushing these, there is no need. Any way though I'm lookin forward to continuing Cole's story.

Throw in Pikmin 3 and I'll be quite satisfied.

Is it just me or did anyone else find that reviewer incredibly boring to listen to? The "atmosphere" Gamespot tried to include didn't help things either.

Shadows and textures definitely look better on the PS3 but whats up with all the jaggies?

Lost Odyssey is certainly the best jrpg I've played this gen. As a whole the genre has been severely lacking and LO was the only one I've played which has kept my interest throughout. It is a very underrated game IMO.

Visceral may not have sequels plans but I bet EA does.

Considering that most sequels seem to follow the de facto 2 year development cycle I'm not surprised.

Your logic is flawed. It's not like the first one was from the MGS4 engine while the second is from the Rising engine. If you are insinuating that the second is in game engine and somehow looks worse than MGS4 compare to this screenshot http://www.wallpaperez.net/...
Pootang you should probably take a look at the shot as well. If you honestly think its trash then you are in seriou...

"one thing micro$ofts paycheck cant buy is kojima"
Is that so? I could have sworn he was pretty excited about making natal games. Oh and the $ instead of the S was a nice touch, very original.

Uncharted 2, Bioshock, Metal Gear Solid, Batman Arkham Asylum, Ico. Notice a trend? All games with great stories that can easily be beaten in less than 10 hours. By no means does a longer game equate a deeper or better story. There are plenty of short games that deliver an incredible tightly woven story. As for gameplay, we haven't seen nearly enough of this game to gauge how repetitive it is.

I'd rather be Clinton. He seems more of the Shepard style.

A shame really that in damn near every ME2 article one of the first few comments is from some troll saying something about playing the uber superior PC version on their super computer. If you don't have anything relevant to add then why don't you just shut up or GTFO?

Planned on going back to this game after beating Uncharted 2 but never got around to it. I still plan to someday, hopefully they will release some sort of compilation with all the DLC available.

Definitely would have liked to see Snake and Revolver/Liquid in there. Could replaced one of the Cole skins, and really who wants to play as Zeke?

Agreed, but I'm sure it will still sell assloads.

Nintendo has continued to put out impressive first party games of the absolute highest quality. It's not their fault that their casual sensation has drawn 3rd party shovelware like honey draws flies.

Many of those are people's opinions, PR talk, or could be simple mistakes. I wouldn't get my hopes up until we get some real substantial info from the rumor mill. Such as a developer being attached to port the game, or confirmations from current or ex Bioware employees themselves that a port is in development.
