Owning what exactly? Since they switched focus to Kinect I have been bored as hell.
I've been absolutely bored out of my mind the past, what 50 minutes? The only interesting parts of the conference were Gears, Halo, and the announcement of ESPN streaming although they didn't need to demonstrate it that long.
No matter how you want to play it off an exclusive partnership with ESPN to bring streaming sports to the console is a huge deal. Plus, Live's value just skyrocketed.
Nothing?? But there was an elephant!!! Now are Sony of Nintendo going to have an elephant at their events?
I've actually been giving this some thought myself. I think it will in a sense, but not so much the individual price of natal itself. With the rumors of Natal releasing at a price point as high as $150 everyone began saying how it'll be a failure. For those who already have the system, yes it will fail at that price. But who already owns 360s? Gamers... It's becoming increasingly clear that MS has no intention of capturing the hardcore with this device.
They...
The article gets it right. Journalism as it was once known is dead. Every major outlet is now owned my some large media conglomerate. All news gathering is streamlined to be more cost effective and advertisers have a HUGE pull on what gets reported. The smaller outlets cannot compete and as a result resort to posting bogus stories and flame-bait just for the hits.
This is N4G. Civility has never existed within these borders.
There actually is a Play Control Version of Pikmin 2. The problem is that the title remains unreleased in North America, wish Nintendo would get on that.
Breaking News... Square executives go green, vow to fly in their Gulftream V instead of the larger Gulfstream G650 in order to conserve gas!
Hey, what a coincidence, I just read about idiots like you in this article.
You have to figure though, the original Xbox released in November 2001 and the 360 released in November 2005. So after releasing the Xbox all focus was undoubtedly turned to the 360. Why waste time and R&D to release a slim Xbox? Now though, MS wants to extend the life of the 360. They have said that they are treating Natal like the launch of a new system. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Slim 360/Natal bundle as an attempt to "relaunch" the console.
Like this?
Is this the "leaked" footage you speak of? Looks too good and fluid to be gameplay footage. If it is though, SHAME on Ubisoft!
Easily the most addicting game I've played on iPod and certainly the best $1 I've ever spent.
Funny how everyone on the internet is "related" to someone with inside info. Not necessarily calling you a liar, but too many people have played that card in the past for me to get my hopes up.
Are you that big of an immature fanboy that you would hope that upon Insomniac? Personally I hope the game is a huge success on both systems. Insomniac deserves that much.
Microsoft didn't buyout Bungie, they didn't buyout Bioware and they didn't buyout Bizarre. All developers with a long history of Microsoft exclusives at the time of departure. If they wouldn't shell out the money for them they won't for Insomniac either. Unfortunately MS has shown that they have no desire to build first party talent. Maybe they still feel burned over the Rare purchase.
I would definitely put Wind Waker over Twilight Princess.
While I appreciate the DLC so far, especially the free stuff, I can't help but feel that it has been a bit limited in scope. It's all been stuff that has only added a small bit of playtime at a time. I am hoping that instead of a number of small packs they opt to release at least one big full blown expansion type DLC.
Did they really just give everyone a free 360? I should get one for being subjected to that horrible presentation to.
