Overall I would agree. While I personally had no interest in this game after playing the demo (xbox version mind you), there is no reason for shoddy ports like this to still exist this late into the consoles' life cycle. I agree that platinum games is not to blame. They set out to fufill their vision and make the best game they could. If they felt that their vision could be fulfilled best using the 360 hardware I can understand and respect that. With the amount of pleased reviewers and c...
Cameron could be a good choice. Some others off the top of my head that fit the bill would be Neill Blomkamp, J.J. Abrams (although it would probably be too close to Star Trek for his liking), or Ridley Scott.
CONSPIRACY!!!! Better grab my tin foil hat to protect me.
Bioware should only allow this IF a major studio and proven director are interested in bringing the series to films. Otherwise it is wasted potential doomed to fail.
I tend to agree especially since the site says "title premier for 360". Sounds like the Lost Planet 2 reveal to me. However, the prominent inclusion of Microsoft's name could hint towards something more. If it does prove to be an actual exclusive though I'm guessing it will be a Natal game since Capcom made such a big fuss and pledged to be multi-platform from here out.
Oh and Saaking, I don't know what you consider "selling a lot" but no DMC game has sold ...
I can imagine this announcement has crushed many a soul.
Will it set sales records? Most likely not.
Will it be awesome? Definitely!
Even if you drop the prices of games a used market will still exist. It's not going to magically make everyone buy new and keep the game forever. Only difference a $40 new game will make is that instead of a used copy selling for $55 it'll sell for $35. Sure, a few people may decide to buy new instead. But at the end of the day most of the people who want to save an extra few bucks will do so by still buying used.
I just really want some single player DLC damnit.
Can't wait to find out more, this game has had me intrigued since first hearing about years ago. The excitement has waned but an information blowout could certainly rekindle the fire.
The universe that Bioware has crafted is far too rich to just forget about. I love me some Mass Effect and as long as Bioware delivers the same top notch games they are known for I'll be there. I would love to be able to play as a Turian or Krogan in a future installment... just sayin Bioware.
Chan sites may be the assh*le of the internet but they have had some success breaking video game rumors, especially Japanese games.
The problem I have with 3D is that it doesn't actually give you the feeling of reality and depth. It looks like what is basically a moving pop-up book. Not to mention that the glasses are annoying.
The maps in COD4 were so much better in my opinion, would be nice to play on Crash again. Wonder if all of the new perk and killstreak additions would leave the old maps fubar though. If they charge $10 they can forget it; way too steep for simple "remakes" (probably the same exact maps even down to the exploits). I'm guessing the vid is fake though.
I've been urgently awaiting this game since the second I finished Mass Effect. My torture is almost over.
Uncharted 2 is the the runaway winner out of these candidates. I'm dumbfounded at the complete lack of Arkham Asylum on the list though.
So much for all the of Japan hating the game. I will be interested in seeing what kind of reviews the rest of the world give the game though.
Sounds a lot like the Shale DLC that was available on release day for Dragon Age. If that is the case I'm guessing it be free with that included Cerberus Network card, it better be at least. As much as I love Mass Effect, I will not buy DLC like this. DLC is truly ruining games when used improperly. Things are clearly being left out of games (see Assassins Creed 2, Heavy Rain, RE5) and even further than that DLC is receiving higher priority than fixing problems in games. Just look at som...
Please joe, 3 words are needed. "He's on fire!"
Not saying it won't happen but since when does "I don't know" equate to "highly likely". This is just another case of some people running rampant with speculation at any chance they get.
