How does this shit get approved?
I've been wanting Freedom Fighters 2 since the second I finished the first.
Main problem I see with the list is how many of these characters would play basically the same (for example Nathan Drake, Hale, Rico, Navy Seal, Gabe Logan) on top of some characters that really wouldn't make for good characters in a fighting game (Robbit, LocoRocos, Lammy, Yaggi, Mannequin).
Unfortunately, I worry that by the end of the year Mass Effect 2 and God of War 3 will be overlooked.
Not too big of a fan of the Resistance series myself but I'd certainly love Uncharted 3, inFamous 2 and Killzone 3.
Agree. The only hardware MS is going to focus on at this E3 is Natal and possibly a new slim 360. They are banking on Natal to extend the life of the 360 so it would make no sense to have a blowout of information on Natal only to derail any possible hype by announcing a new console.
If this game can manage to recapture the unique gameplay experience and pure enjoyment of the original and meld intuitive motion controls I will very much be interested. Ape escape is the perfect game for Sony to meld with move controls. Now Sony show me a bundle with the two and you may just have yourself a sale.
I agree wholeheartedly. So far this year has been the greatest year in gaming I can remember with the likes of Mass Effect 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain, Splinter Cell Conviction and the impending releases. The best thing is that it is only the beginning of May. I cannot wait to see what all of the big 3 bring to the table as well as all of the other developers.
We may be falling behind intellectually, but when that inevitable zombie apocalypse breaks out we'll see who falls behind then.
Without a doubt all eyes will be on Natal. Whether or not it can deliver will set the tone for MS for the next few years. If Natal proves to be functional and MS shows off some hardcore games utilizing the device I think it will quiet a lot of doubters. If not, I think it may force MS to jump into the next console generation quicker than it would like.
This E3 has been in the making since this console generation began. The generation is now full on in its prime. I truly believe we have yet to see the best games that either PS3 or 360 has to offer. With the competition between Sony and MS really heating up I expect them both to come out gun's blazing.
Or maybe the real reason it's not coming to the PS3 is because COD 2 was never released on PS3 and it wouldn't make any business sense for Activision to port a nearly 5 year old game to PS3 to sell in a $60 bundle. Last I heard, MW2 was the best selling PS3 game to date by well over a million copies; so PS3 owners obviously eat from the same trough.
Agreed, a sequel actually seems counterproductive to the whole community aspect unless it is drastically different enough to set it apart. That said I would hope they include backwards compatibility with all user created levels if it retains the 2.5D perspective.
After all the hell that Activision put IW through why would Bungie willingly climb into bed with such a beast? When you lay with dogs you're bound to get fleas.
I don't care what they announce, if Kevin Butler hosts it'll be the greatest conference in Sony history.
Don't blame the food companies, they are not forcing that sh*t down everyone's throats. Plus most fast food places now offer an alternative selection of foods that aren't anywhere near as bad. Blame the individuals responsible for stuffing their faces and showing no self control, or in this case the lazy irresponsible parents who just feed their kids fast food meal after meal for convenience. Although I do feel that all restaurants should be mandated by law to provide nutritional informati...
I was thinking more along these lines...
Correlation does not necessarily equal causation. Not to say that TV/video games do not contribute to the problem of obese kids but I'd say fast food, junk food with little to no nutritional value and abundances of fried crap without any healthy foods are as much to blame.
That's cause they're usually to busy saying, "oh look, halo got a great score by people paid by M$"
