Funny how we didn't hear all this same kind of bullsh*t after the Uncharted 2 or God of War III trailers revealed. All I remember then is "ZOMGZ!!! in game engine!!!". What a coincidence that now that it is Halo it means the in game graphics are all of a sudden gonna take some kind of gigantic hit.
But if you don't open it you won't be able to play the original Mass Effect. Unless you've already played on PC?
After all the hype, this year's VGAs were pathetic, especially compared to last year that saw footage of Uncharted 2 and God of War III. Gotta saw though that the Arkham Asylum sequel was a pleasant surprise though, and what was shown of Reach was good looking, even though it was scripted.
Great trailer and I loved the fact that there were constantly multiple agents on screen. Crackdown + 4player co-op = great fun.
The animations they showed in the reveal looked horrible. Quite disappointed. However, when the cycle ramped the car I couldn't help but smile at the memory of Road Rash 64.
Wasn't expecting this. Seems a bit soon but the first was great and I expect more of the same!
This is quickly becoming my most anticipated game of all time. Cannot wait!
With all of the great bands out there they choose Greenday. What makes this even worse is that Geoff said they had over 40 premiers to choose from.
Halo Reach the biggest thing at the VGAs? But Geoff, just earlier you said there was an even bigger reveal. Make up you're damn mind!
Although currently I probably do more gaming on my 360, my PS3 is probably the best value for my money that I have ever spent on a system. And that's the Metal Gear bundle for ~$450 mind you. To say it is still too pricey is nonsense, especially considering the elite sells for the same price. Oh well, with the wonderful exclusives and beautiful blu ray movies I have been anything but disappointed with my purchase.
I think the article had more grammatical errors that MW2 has glitches.
He must've made this comment just for the N4G community.
Please, PLEASE let that new Star Wars game be KOTOR 3.
DO WANT!!! Although after playing Kane and Lynch I would worry a bit of the quality.
As good as God of War III will be I doubt it will sell even half of what Halo reach will. If the Call of Duty name can carry over without IW involvement and the Modern Warfare tag it may have a chance but I doubt it will be nearly as successful as MW2 was. Final Fantasy, like ceeduby said is too much of a niche market. The ONLY 2009 games I see putting up a fight is Gran Turismo 5 and maybe Mario Galaxy 2.
Wasn't expecting this, especially with all the 360 is dead nonsense running around this past month. Love all the "I bet most of those were cause of bans" comments by the way.
Blah, never have liked 3-D, always felt like a gimmick. Maybe if they ever developed a decent tech that doesn't involve glasses and headaches I'll jump on board.
@ killer
Square Enix had absolutely nothing to do with Lost Odyssey.
Can't wait to see all of the 360 fanboys begin their love affair with the title while the PS3 fanboys become bitter and bash it for being a sh*tty multiplat not worthy of their glorious time.
I'd have to disagree, they both have a strong lineup but I'd hardly say Sony has MS running. In fact, so far MS's offering interests me way more than what Sony is bringing. Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Metro 2033 and Fable 3 all have me quite interested. On the flip side I'm looking forward to God of War III, Heavy Rain, Last Guardian, and Agent (which probably won't release in 2010).
