I don't necessarily think that having a check point system nowadays makes games any easier... just more tolerable. Especially if you're like me and never touch "Normal" mode.
My games are always played on the higher difficulty settings and I've been seriously tested this generation for sure.
Can definitely remember way back when how hard those NES games were, but the God of War series on the hardest modes, MGS4 on the Boss Extreme going ...

I'll definitely wait and see what the PSP2 is going to bring to the table before getting my first hand held device (if I even do get one that is).
The portable market just isn't that appealing to me for that kind of money.

for the 3rd time. I have bought this game for a second time due to my love for pretty much anything zombie/Dawn of the Dead type horror. Figured it could grow on me... wrong.
I just cannot play this damn game. Killing the zombies is a blast but everything else totally ruins the experience for me.

Sadly this has become the dinosaur age for meaningful single player campaigns when it comes to the FPS genre.
It's become basically just a training ground for hopping online.
Fortunately, I think RAGE will fill this void.

North vs. South online modes would create some interesting situations though.... could get pretty intense.
That version will be a whisper in the wind and I assure you that Turn 10 does NOT want anyone thinking that it will be a full fledged Forza 3 successor.
More like Forza 3 with Kinect tacked on as an option.
Turn 10 won't even consider releasing Forza 4 until the next Xbox is released.

Yeah that's weird. Also when I use it via the PS3, even the non-hd titles take up the full widescreen instead of having the black borders that I get on the 360.
Are you using wifi or are you wired on the 360?
But does anyone else notice that the streaming quality for Netflix is far better on the PS3? I've used both consoles for this and for some reason the Xbox video quality always fluctuates and can get downright poor at times.
