Rental.
Yep. Excited about this one indeed. Looks to be something fresh.
This logic is flawed.
This would be great, but they really need to put the second one out on the PS3 first.
Doesn't make sense to have a gap in the series.
Why the hell would you buy a version you can't even read...
???
Fallout 3 gameplay??? It was good, but it wasn't necessarily great. Bethesda themselves stated that as a shooter it was probably middle of the road... it was the living breathing world and sheer amount of exploration that kept people engaged.
And that world stems largely from... cha-ching! Graphics and art style! They both matter, jus sayin'.
This still looks to be like any other Halo game. Fans of the series already know they're gonna love it, non-fans are still not gonna give a shit.
You're in the minority there buddy.
The company I work for has a boatload of gamers. Consoles and PC... the stereotype is there for a reason believe me.
RTS is the last genre that the PC can still call its own. Let them keep it.
The game looks like a big "meh" to me.
Come on now... the abundant use of the registered trademark symbol is a bit overkill.
Don't mess wit mah PS3 biotch!
That's what Sony needs to do. If they're truly serious about 3D gaming being in the here and now, they need to start flooding retail with kiosks and demos. Especially with all of the 3D television displays that are out there.
The door is wide open for this. Showcase 3D PS3 games, and Blu-ray movies... all done from the same machine.
Thus far Killzone 3 looks to have the edge. That brief multiplayer trailer was downright awesome.
Not bringing PC into this because I just don't give a flying f*ck about that platform, but for consoles... KZ for the win.
I don't think this will be an issue. Unless it happens to be a bad port or inferior version, which I highly doubt.
Bioware will make this right I hope (Orange Box anyone?). The game is simply too good to get gimped in any way.
What would be interesting to see is if they can eventually get the first game on PS3 as well and clean that one up. For such a great game there was a boatload of technical problems with the 360 version.
They make a valid point though. The Xbox sincerely needs to start acquiring some in-house studios to really push their hardware and create more brand identities (ala Halo, Gears etc...).
Sony is sitting pretty in this regard, while the clock is ticking for MS to stop procrastinating with this. Especially with the market share they've gained with the 360, it's either shit or get off the pot.
Infinite should've been the original sequel/prequel to Bioshock. The first game was/is one of my favs... But returning to Rapture again for Bioshock 2 was a complete let down for me. Playing as a Big Daddy wasn't all that appealing either.
I felt the same way.
Was really disappointed too as I love pretty much anything zombie horror...
Very repetitive and I wasn't concerned or "scared" at all when playing this. It was literally just "lets see how many zombies we can decimate" and that's it.
Yeah, it definitely has it's own style. Some of the things that I do really like is the physics, the enemy AI and the amount of color. It's a nice retraction from the more somber FPS color palette and the game is challenging.
Maybe it will grow on me as time goes on with it. I have played nearly 6 straight hours of it today.
Exactomundo.
