One of the most overrated games of this gen regardless of platform.
and am having big fun with it. Hasn't stopped me from screaming obscenities towards Sheva though Lol. It's no surprise that there's a trophy/achievement for babysitting her.
I've ever had personally, going all the way back to the original NES.
I'm not %100 sold on it just yet. I get the feeling that there won't be any middle ground with this one, it'll either be excellent or a complete misfire. I'm hoping for excellent as the concept is definitely intriguing. Let's hope Sucker Punch delivers and pulls this one off.
And my copy of RE5 is doing just fine on my PS3.
360 version is confirmed superior my ass, same f*ckin' game. If anything the Dualshock is perfect for 3rd person action games and those Gametrailers comparisons are false imo. The colors on my 1080p LCD look far better than that crappy video they put up there.
If Leon got caught in a headlock with those Hulkamania like 24" pythons, it'd be over with.
7 HDMI ports, a quick gamer mode button (which I'm not even really sure what it does Lol) and IT F*CKIN' ROCKS. Games, Blu-ray, HD cable you name it's fantastic.
One thing I noticed though after running both consoles on the television is that the PS3 automatically drops/ups to the native resolution the game was made in whereas the 360 seems to upscale everything to 1080p. Just my opinion, but I do prefer the native rez over upscaling.
How about we wait until it's actually released and in our consoles before making a final judgement
and I won't pay the extra $100 for the wi-fi adapter as wireless is the only way I go, so it looks like it's PS3 version here. I can handle some minor framerate hiccups here and there as long as it's not a constant thing. I think I'll take the complete version of the game with the DLC. Also on a side note, screen tearing really is a dirty whore and should not happen, ever.
I'd obviously rather have neither but screen tearing is just a major eye sore.
I'm enjoying every facet of this game, and I certainly welcome having to learn a new control system once in a while personally. Makes you think a little bit more and stay on your toes. Definately gives Killzone it's own unique feel.
sure beats the hell out of a Kung-fu Panda & Lego Indiana Jones bundle.
this is what I mean when saying that I thought the DS3 performed better. I actually felt some lag and the d-pad would stall in-game and at the character select screen with the Madcatz pad, and I've been doing just fine without it. It could've been that I had one that was diffective but in any case, the sticks are too expensive and I've grown acustom to the Playstation controller since the PSone.
I'd honestly have to get used to playing with sticks all over again regardless ...
for the PS3 anyway, I found the Dualshock to perform better personally.
and although it's gotten somewhat better (as they were completely sold out of SFIV on PS3 and still had tons for the 360), you're still pretty much a pariah when buying PS3 stuff there and hopefully that will change with the stellar '09 line-up.
Yet the store by where I work seems to be much more neutral. Suffice it to say, I severely doubt a midnight launch is happening at either of my locations. Either way it's looking like a good friday night to me, already got the beer ...
For me, defeating Seth for the first time felt damn near impossible on the medium difficulty. My girlfriend and I were fighting him for over an hour and my hands were killing me Lol. But man was that a rewarding feeling when I finally whooped his ass. Seems like after you beat him once it's alot easier from there on out. Obviously much easier with Ken/Ryu.
MID RANGE ATTACK!
= best western RPG of this generation, period. Hopefully they can clean up some of the technical problems though from the first one like bad frame rate hiccups and texture loading.
Such a huge universe that Bioware can continue to explore and reveal. Publishers making RPG's should definately look more into using the branch out (good/evil) dialogue as it really lends to having you think more about your decisions, rather than just being able to choose all of the dialogue resp...
No question their support will always be bigger in the U.S. whether they make crap products or not. I expect this love affair to continue well into the next generation of gaming as well. Same can be said for Sony and Japan.
Still, Microsoft really has seemed to have been given a free pass given their terrible hardware failure rate for the 360. Bigger game library doesn't really mean much if half of it's shovelware. PS2 had a lot of shovelware also.
Either way...
I think MS might be jumping the gun just a little bit regarding FFXIII?
