It's not a review. It's just a picture w/ a few specs. Besides, what's to review that the picture and history doesn't already tell you? It's smaller, apparently white and it'll probably run a little smoother, maybe faster. Nothing really mind blowing there. Microsoft (and Sony) have released slim versions of their previous console and this was expected to happen at some point.
I'm not saying you're right and I'm not saying you're wrong, but ignorance is bliss.
Keyword there is "IF". Microsoft always releases a "slim" version to entice people into "upgrading" and others into finally buying their console. It's all about making $$$.
I don't see what the big deal is. News is news. What difference does it make it you get it at a set time or the week before? Are you less "blown away" by it? Does getting it in advance make it less awesome? It's the same news.
I'll pick it up on Black Friday for $20 cheaper. Give EA/Dice a month to knock out at least a few of the glitches Battlefield games are infamous for.
I'm sure places like GameStop will have trade deals for your old console.
I would buy that, but I would prefer a special glow-in-the-dark, Slimer green edition.
At least they got something out of it; although those with limited bandwidth on a game that size might've still got the short end of the stick. I have the game on PS4 and would have loved to been able to grab the season pass for free, especially since they upped the price on it. But then, I've yet to finish the original game, so hopefully by the time I get around to doing that the season pass will be greatly discounted. So much for the the days of being able to capitalize on Micros...
I use mine all the time - not just for gaming, but for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. They're a great way to watch movies late at night w/o waking everyone up. I do think it's time they got a serious upgrade or price drop, though - they have been out for a few years now. *EDIT* Disagrees without an explanation. Who doesn't love that? ;)
I think I'll past on this one. Collector Corp's Women of Power and Legion of Collector's Suicide Squad crates look to be the better bet this time around. Plus, I wasn't that impressed with this month's Power crate from Loot Crate.
Just noting not ALL of us buy COD still. I never bought, nor have I played it's last 2 releases and have no plans on buying or playing the next release. That new Battlefield coming out, on the other hand, has my attention.
I like the idea of the Drake legacy continuing with Cassie; with her mom and dad making cameo appearances. I kinda liken it to "Creed" being a continuation of Rocky Balboa's story, which you know, we'll likely eventually see Rocky's death in a future "Creed" movie. I can see that happening with Nathan Drake, as the franchise is passed down to Cassie. The only problem is she would be compared more to Lara Croft than Nathan Drake ever was.
If I wanted opinions, I would goto Twitter, search #Uncharted4, and read dozens if not hundreds of opinions in 140 characters or less. I would read the comments on N4G on Uncharted 4 related news. Notice I said news and not reviews, because reviews are just one person's opinion. Pieces like this (and reviews) should have their own special section on N4G, because otherwise, the site should stick to industry news that gamers may be interested in. E3 is just weeks away and I have no idea...
I love the Uncharted games, as well as the newest Tomb Raiders. Not just for the game play and characters, but I love the exotic locations these games generally take place in. I love exploring those worlds, because I have nothing like that where I live. So, it's a bit of an escape for me.
Okay, so you don't like Uncharted. Tell me one thing that everybody on the whole planet likes. You can't, because no such thing exist. There will always be reasons why people hate what many consider the greatest things. That's how it is, always has been and always will be. So, your opinion on this video game or anything.. that's fine. What I'm really curious about is why your opinion is important enough to be posted on N4G. Doesn't the "N" in N4G stand...

I'd rather watch the old Ghostbusters again, than the new one. Just because something is old, doesn't mean it's bad.
@kaizokuspy, they are still AAA titles, no matter how old they are and not everybody has played them. Others wouldn't mind revisiting them. I never played Ryse, never finished BioShock Infinite and Red Dead Redemption is one of my all-time favorites. So, if I still had my Xbox One, that line-up would have me doing jumping jacks. If you think this line-up is "meh", then I can't see how either Game With Gold or Playstation Plus could ever interest you.
I know little info has been released about the Nintendo NX and I haven't cared about a Nintendo product in a long time, but I have a good feeling about the NX. I'm actually excited for it.
It's exclusive to Microsoft - not Xbox, not Windows. Xbox and Windows are properties of Microsoft. So, they are still standing underneath the same umbrella. That umbrella is just offering you multiple ways to play.
