Extended beta, I hope.
Another month of indy crap. Big surprise.
I'm loving the length and timing of this beta. I can actually play while my kid is at school; unlike with the TitanFall 2 beta, which was only playable during the weekend when my kid was home. Plus, by the end of the 9 days, I'll know if I'm already bored with it or want more of it, which will factor into it's purchasing power.
I'd bet that GameStop expects a swift price-drop (or a Steam/PS+ deal), especially w/ the Holidays getting closer.
It blew my mind seeing a sandstorm on the horizon and then it hitting a minute later. I don't know if I'll have the $$$ to get this day-1, but I'm anxious to see what other maps they have in store for us. October releases are a tough call, because you know all those games will be on sale a month later on Black Friday; especially games like Battlefield that always face stiff competition in Call Of Duty (and this year, TitanFall 2).
Well, the first one was Motorbike. I don't know the rest, because I wasn't going to click(bait) through the rest of the gallery, but if anyone else would like to and list them, that would be great.
Awesome. :)
I guess I didn't get accepted into the beta this go round. :(
One of the things I enjoyed most about this first episode - surprisingly - is how cool it was to play as Bruce Wayne. I actually preferred his parts more than I did Batman's. That was fresh. And after being a Batman fan for 30+ years, lately, it's been occurring to me that Bruce Wayne/Batman is a bit of an A-hole; so I've been favoring lighter characters like Nightwing more. This game helped restore my faith (fandom) in Bruce Wayne/Batman. You knocked it for having too much B...
I put about 10 hours into it. It's a "relaxing" game. I'll give it that. You just have to be in the right kind of mood to really get anything out of it. I'm kinda getting sick of the word "entitled". We didn't create this world we're living in; our fathers, mothers, grandparents, ancestors did and their work evolved into what we're living today. It's like today's blacks blaming today's whites for slavery. Ridiculous.
I felt it was pretty obvious this game wouldn't live upto expectations and would be extremely repetitive. I mean, 18 quintenbenzensentrillion (whatever the number is) planets. Just how much variety can there be? It's a cool concept and I hope other developers expand on it, but we're probably at least a decade away from the No Man's Sky people were expecting to be released.
Sometimes silence is the best response. Really, what can they say? "Sorry. We're making more games, so please buy them. We won't screw them up either. We promise. 🤞" Hello Games put 4 years into No Man's Sky and it'll more than likely cause them to shutdown; so a lot of developers are going to be out of work. This is one of the biggest flops in the history of gaming.
Money is money. People have this mentality that if you don't work hard for your money then you don't deserve it. That's B.S. If I found $60 laying on the ground, the hardest work I'm going to do is bend over, pick it up, and stick it in my pocket. If I could get $60 back from an unfinished game, that's $60 I can spend on another likely unfinished game.
After the refund, were you still able to play the game or did they block it?
I probably put about 10 hours into it and I could play it more. I've payed full price for games less than 10 hours, so I can't really complain.
Waiting for this to be a PS+ "freebie". At least Hello Games will make some money off of it that way.
Well, you haven't experienced a traumatic childhood that led to mental issues and insecurity yet. When that happens, we'll know now what to blame. [J/K]
Having an opinion is not your job, Green Day. Shush it!
I'm talking about our solar system - the Milkey Way, the one we're living in. Between moons and planets, that would be like almost 200 places to visit, as well as an asteroid field. I believe this would make for a much better game, because science has given us a basic idea of what the surfaces and atmospheres of those planets already are - mostly dull and boring, but alien interaction could add slight changes to those planets/moons to make them more interesting to visit. It would b...
Yea, well it wasn't always like that with PlayStation. Online was free (still is on PS3). The real advantage to PS+ was the free games, which were actually some good AAA titles. Excuse me for liking THAT version of PS+ better and not being happy for the higher price DOWNGRADE. Now if you are okay with Sony's current version of PS+, kudos to you - that's your right, but as a long time PS+ subscribers, I'm not - and that's my right.
