I'm not seeing much of a new roster this year. Almost all of these guys were in last year's game and the few that weren't, you can easily download in Community Creations. This might be the first WWE game I skip in like 30 years. I really think they should start releasing these games every 2 years and bring back the "arcadey" WWE All-Stars -- man, I loved that game!
It is what it is. I've been a console gamer all my life, but I'm not naive to recognize that PC can be far more superior than any console available. Not saying consoles don't have their perks - they have a lot actually; one being convenience, which is why I've stuck to them, but it's undeniable that the best gaming experience overall requires a PC and that the industry is embracing PC gaming more and more. Now is as good as time as any to make the jump from console to P...
This is going to take basement gaming to a whole 'nother level!
In the PS3 days, the games were typically mid-to-high level AAA titles with the occassional indy title thrown in and those who had more than the PS3, like the PSP or Vita, really benefitted. Now, they made PS+ be required to play online on the PS4 and it's become standard to receive only indy titles, with a rare apperance by a mid-to-high level AAA title. So, no, I don't think quality has increased. It's gotten worst, and worst of all, they've let the competition pass them ...
I'm leaning more and more toward joining the "master race". PS+'s glory days are long over and now they're wanting us to pay more for essentially less. $10 isn't much and I'm sure I can find it on sale somewhere, but still. Mine expires in September, so I'll renew for another year, but if Sony wants to keep me, they better make that year (and PS+) spectacular.
So, curious. I usually game on PS4, because my PC sucks. I've been playing No Man's Sky on PC and the guy walks really slow, even when "running". Is that normal or is that just slowdown from my crappy PC? I mean, how does his speed compare to the guy/girl walking in Fallout 4?
I'm one of those types who can go months uninterested in video games and then months interested. I've been playing games a lot the past month, so I'm in my "zone" right now. When I played TitanFall 1, I wasn't really playing at the time, but I would still play that game. I've barely touched the demo for TF2.
Of what I've played of the "Test Tech" demo, it's been a snipers haven, which seems to be the problem with a lot of these types of games. I think they should make the sniper rifle a randomly generated specialty weapon. You never know when, where or even IF it'll appear in rounds of your game. That would change dynamics in multiplayer shooters dramatically.
Silly article. The predictions are based on hopes and dreams. There is really nothing else you can use to predict what's going to be added. Given Sony's past, I'd say we'll get a few more indy titles and if Sony is feeling generous (and they rarely do) we'll get a game we've actually heard of before.
That's how it goes.
This is why we need people to WAIT and SEE before purchasing, instead of making day 1 buys. Demos cost companies money to make and don't give the customer the complete game, so a potential buyer may think since a demo sucks, the game sucks, too. We have YouTube and Twitch now. Anyone interested in No Man's Sky who hasn't bought it yet can log in to either one and watch (LIVE) gameplay from multiple players to get an idea of rather or not it's their kind of game. Twitch is ...
I love my PS Gold wireless headsets. Not just for late night, early morning gaming, but also to watch shows on Netflix, Amazon, etc. The pre-set button is nice, too. I recently updated it for Uncharted 4 and that game sound so amazing afterwards. The wireless work on my laptop, too, so that's also nice.
I wouldn't have a problem with PS Now, but I own dozens of digital copies of PS3 games that I can't play on my PS4, without subscribing to PS Now. I even bought digital copies of GTA V and Batman: Arkham City thinking PS4 would support backwards compatibility since those games released so close to the launch of the PS4 and I thought I would be able to play them on my PS4. Nope! So, NO thanks, Sony! (I did eventually re-purchase GTA V on PS4 for cheap.)
According to metacritic user reviews, it's scored at 5/10 on PS4 and averaged 7/10 with critics. So, I think saying it's an okay game is the best way to describe it. Keep in mind, when a game, movie or music first comes out, a lot of people are emotionally invested in their new acquisition and let slide the little things wrong with it. I was the same way with Batman: The Killing Joke not too long ago. I was so hyped for that film. Watched it and then tweeted how excellent it was ...
A win is a win. Sony's cockiness allowed Microsoft to make it's comeback, and now they're going to be struggling to take back that lead, esp. if Microsoft can keep this going into the holidays. I suspect then we'll see some bigger sales on Playstation Plus and with higher profiled games being free each month.
As a PS4 gamer, this makes me ridiculously happy. I still prefer the PS4 over the Xbox One, but Sony has been slackin' ever since it became #1. Playstation Plus has went downhill in a major way. Maybe now that they're #2 they'll pick up the pace and start providing better deals and content. Competition is a GREAT thing! Way to go, Microsoft!
I'm not going to click on the article, but going by your list, I just finished the first episode of Batman like not even an hour ago and I've been a huge fan of Hitman for years.. so, nah, not overlooked.
I guess I can see both point of views. On the one hand, I can understand the veterans being upset - they don't get enough respect, as is, and this country has made them fight beyond the war(s) to gain what little they have. So, I get that. BUT on the flip side, that was public land and those kids had every right to be there. They weren't hurting anything. They were just hanging out and playing a game. The one vet who destroyed the tent was totally out of control and gives other ...
The thing about pre-orders is that they usually come with bonuses people don't want to miss out on, so it's a gamble regardless. At least, usually, over time the games are patched.
If only they would have made a game based on our own galaxy; where aliens have invaded all our planets to steal our resources and we have to go to each one, fending off aliens, exploring the terrain of the planets, as well as their moons, etc. A game like that might not only be fun, but educational. I mean, do we really need 179283798473298632964923947329 planets?
