The E3 demo really impressed me and being day-1 on GamePass sealed it. This is the only Xbox game I'm seriously looking forward to.
I don't think playing for just an hour qualifies you as understanding addiction. That's like thinking people being addicted to nicotine is insane, because you just smoked a whole pack of cigarettes and have no desire to smoke another.
I think it's mainly because it's an easy game to learn and play and it allows the player to somewhat control the pacing. Most of all, the game tends to play with your emotions as you can go from calm to intense fighting in an instance, accompanied by feelings of anger, relief, etc.
From a scientific perspective, the dopamine your brain is producing while playing is a helluva drug.
That's crazy considering Microsoft was offering freebies to everyone logged into their Microsoft account that watched on Mixer, which is where I watched it.
Fortnite on Switch is 2 GB and on Xbox One X it's like 12 GB. I tried it earlier and there is definitely a downgrade in graphics, which makes it hard to see targets sometimes. Other than that, the controls are essentially the same, but kinda odd with the Switch's small controllers. Personally, I didn't like it, but I'm use to playing on PS4 and Xbox.
Yes! But I'm from WV, so, of course.
Being from WV and living just minutes from one of the landmarks shown in the trailer, I can tell you they captured the look and feel of the state extremely well, despite the somewhat dated graphics.
The only thing that really excited me was Forza a being day-1 on GamePass. For the price of 2 full games a year, I can pretty much play every game I would want to play exclusive to Xbox. I'm primarily a PS4 gamer, so that's fantastic for me. And Forza looked awesome!
It'll be on GamePass, so you don't have to.
Where does anything official say there will be prizes for watching on Mixer?
Too soon. Assassin's Creed should be every 2 or 3 year release. I haven't even finished Origins yet; as I've been distracted by other great released and my Fall/Winter is already looking stacked. I'll take a pass on Odyssey.
Most people lack the self control required to do that. #guilty
Come February when I'm finally playing it, I won't care about the delay. In the meantime, Hitman 2...
Give me a Blood Money remaster!
Followed by 3 or 4 game of the year, definitive, complete editions.
If this is episode base, I won't make the mistake of buying each episode individually again. Not that that'll help in having to still pay extra for additional content; unless I want to wait for the next "definitive" edition to drop.
I get the feeling the 13 year old who wrote this article really sucks at Fortnite.
While the school setting is in poor taste, I can't really knock the game for being a "murder simulator". I've gone on killing sprees in video games plenty of times before. I've even played what I call "serial killer mode" in GTA V. That doesn't make me violent in real life. Maybe a morbib. But you could say the same about horror movie fans.
Triple H was the first and only person I can see playing Kratos.
I think it just depends on what you took away from it. Personally, Microsoft did a good job selling me on Xbox's future. I didn't expect Sony to do much since we pretty much knew what they were going to show us, but I was hoping to be sold on the future of PSVR. In that area they failed. So Microsoft won from my point of view.
