The old games are not necessarily bad.. you're just spoiled to what the current gen has to offer. Don't take that as an insult. I'm the same way. For example, I use to LOVE Twisted Metal 2. I played it all the time on my old PS1. I recently bought it from the Playstation Store and couldn't believe how AWFUL it seemed.
I think Hogan and Vince BOTH own the "Hulk Hogan" nd "Hulkamania" names, much like Vince and Dwayne Johnson both own "The Rock" name.
I like the CE.. probably one of the better CE I've come across. I especially like how they included ALL the retail preorder bonuses DLC. I'd like to see other games' CE include that kinda thing.

played ME2 last year on my Xbox.. got about as far into it as i did ME1 (just not my kinda games). picked up LBP2 this morning. loving it! but i feel like i should be taking advantage of DCUO's free month while i got it.
For anyone interested, I just picked up the LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's Edition and the code that comes with it to download all the DLC.. DOESN'T WORK! I called SCE Consumer Services @ 1-800-345-7669 and you get a recording saying the codes are not online yet and to try again later tonight.
I agree that SVR 2010 was better, especially in the number of moves you could perform. I feel limited in 2011. One thing I'm really liking about 2011 is the community creations.. I've downloaded tons of stars that should have been, but are not in the game, like Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio and members of Nexus not included in the DLC and whoever made them did an amazing job in capturing their (and others) likeness.
THQ likes to experiment and I think that is what they were doing with Legends Of Wrestlemania and the upcoming All-Stars, trying to figure out what connects with us gamers so that they CAN maybe build on it and change the Smackdown Vs Raw formula some. But I don't see them changing it too much as long as the games are selling 1.5 million copies.
If anyone has followed Cliffy B long enough on Twitter or kept up with him over the years.. you would know he has a sarcastic sense of humor. I don't think he meant any disrespect saying PC gamers were "grumpy." It was just his way of trying to be funny, which to him, means being a dick.
It might do well the first few months with those players since the billing is setup to bill automatically month to month. One of the first things I did with my copy was turn OFF automatic billing. IF I need more time, I can always add it manually. No point in buying time if I'm busy playing something else for a few weeks.

Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV deserve some credit, too. R* is good about DLC and giving gamers what they want, in general.
i preordered months ago at GameStop and paid it off just last week. the only thing i have preordered at GameStop.. i buy my games at Kmart now.
One of the first things I did after "activating" the game was go into my account manager and turn OFF automatic funding. I really don't know how long I'll stay into DCUO, so no point in allowing my PS3 to purchase more time for the game automatically while it's sitting on my shelf for a few months. I can always buy more time manually when I'm ready to play some more. For now, I'm enjoying the free 1-month that came with the game.
Subscription fees ARE mentioned on the back of the case! It doesn't say how much, but it is on there.
It depends on how you play BFBC2, which is one of the reasons I like it more than COD. Sure, you could easily jump in and play the game very much like you would COD, BUT BFBC2's strongest point is that you don't have to play it that ONE way.. with different classes, you can be an effective part of a team on the battlefield without ever firing a single shot. That's why, in my opinion, BFBC2 is the dominate game, but it can still be played very much like COD.. so, not completely d...
