I remember beating RE3 in 3 hours also back in the day, so the length comes with the genre! I doubt a horror game could sustain itself for more than 10 hours anyways. Personally, I found even Dead Space was starting to get tedious before it ended, and I loved that game.
I think the best (and I would be really happy if devs did this) would be to have a 3 hour main story path, but a lot of branching paths also. So you can finish the game in 3 hours if you stick to the story, or...
That looks way too early in development to be shown right now! I'm interested in this game, but I wouldn't blame them if they waited a little longer before doing a media blowout.
Well call me an idiot! I did not see that... Thanks. Did you get the two mixed up per chance though?
Edit: I see it now. It's because I didn't read past the text body and scores. I expected to find the dimensions in the paragraph where you talked about the mouse's build. Didn't notice the spec sheet all the way at the bottom.
How big is it???
I hate that they never give dimensions in reviews. Even Newegg doesn't tell you what size a mouse is. I'm using a Razer Orochi right now, and if I'd known beforehand how small it is I never would have bought it. I f*cking hate the thing--it might be acceptable for die-hard claw-grippers, but it just gives me hand cramps and I always have to shift my finger position on it to avoid feeling serious discomfort when using it for a while.
You didn't "report on the comment". All you did was post the comment without adding an iota of new information. You call that journalism?
Hell, if that's the amount of information you have in all your "articles", then you should have created a twitter account instead of a website.
This article should have just been titled: "Ridge Racer: Unbounded revealed" because it sheds absolutely NO light on the "1000 cities" comment and, as such, is absolute garbage. But of course that would have gotten less hits.
Internet video games journalism is really starting to piss me off.
I love PSN games (and by PSN I mean XBLA also, but I only have the former) because they're often the most innovative we get nowadays, and for their price you can't go wrong. :D
"Revolutionary not just for the PS3 but for gaming/multi-player shooters in general."
That's what I was thinking. Games journalists these days are too insecure to ever give console games the credit they're due, when they are. Hey, it IS possible for a console game to innovate from time to time. Just because the PC elitists act like all the consoles do is dumb-down franchises doesn't make it so.
@Logic:
I was the opposite. I dominated right away when Warhawk was released, because of skills and instincts I'd brought over from other games. But as soon as people started to get really good with the warhawks, then I got my ass handed to me. That's when I stopped playing and never really looked back. I just couldn't get the hang of the warhawks no matter how much I tried. Shooting people in the face I can master like no other, but dogfights aren't my thing!...
How does the expression go... Biting off more than you can chew?
I don't think Squeenix ever heard it. How about getting your projects out the door first, and maybe making them NOT disappoint?
Yes, definitely looking forward to both those for my multiplayer fix.
Don't get me wrong, I love shooting people in the face in first person as much as the next guy (probably more than most, actually), but I'm really looking forward to those two because they're very different from all the other mp games we've got right now.
It doesn't look anything like Warhawk in that video because that was single player. Warhawk, obviously, was multiplayer only, so it would look drastically different in a gameplay video.
If you were talking about art style though, then there are definitely similarities.
Also, about the graphics: maybe they don't look impressive because the video is tiny and very poor quality! I looks like it'll be very impressive on a large HDTV. That being said, I...
You're giving people on the internet too much credit; the problem with that thought process is that there was a thought process--period.
Don't burn it, just lock it away until your second playthrough.
If this game is as close to DS as it looks, then you'll definitely need a guide to get everything out of it.
lol, yes: try 6th playthrough and soul level 190!
Articles that refer to the current PSN downtime as a "Network Failure" should automatically be blocked, because they're obviously trolling for hits. (Especially if the word Epic is in front of the aforementioned two.)
It was a CRIMINAL ATTACK, to which Sony responded by shutting down their servers to protect what remained. GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULLS.
Haha, that got so annoying after a while. I would just skip through her menu options as fast as possible so I wouldn't have to hear her say that anymore!
The game looks fucking amazing!
Demon's Souls is one of my favorite games ever, and Dark Souls definitely looks like it'll be as good or better.
Honestly, it's Duke... You couldn't find a better example to demonstrate the saying that "There's no such thing as bad publicity". Which is probably why Fox isn't up in arms about this game yet! Can't bring the Duke down!
This upsets me a little. I'm all for ensuring the system is secure before turning it back online, but I hope these "Japanese regulatory officers" don't take their time evaluating whether the service is up to their standards.
I'm sure Sony have been working tirelessly day and night to bring their service back online, but I doubt these regulatory officers will have the same devotion. As users in other regions, this affects us also because Sony have said tu...
