@darth
Sony's computers run Windows. I doubt Sony's going to stop using Skype because MS owns it!
Cool, thanks!
Still no word on whether there will be a DD version.
WTF Squeenix? You'd think releasing a game on the PSN Store would be cheaper than on TWO UMDs...
If I can't get this on my Go I will be PISSED.
In the very same sentence he wrote that, he also wrote that he learned how to properly respawn.
And you think he was serious...
Usually when people don't give ammo it's for one of two reasons:
a) They're noobs. Don't know how to give ammo yet/ don't know they can.
I try to forgive these... But too many noobs gets annoying fast!
b) They're selfish assholes who's logic tells them that less ammo for you = more kills for them.
I liked this part: "Hopefully I don’t have to explain to you why it’s impossible for people in real life to spawn friends out of their butthole"!
I HATE actions that change automatically depending on the situation you're in. Let *me* control my movement, don't do it for me. Rather than make everything context sensitive, R* really needs to fix their damn control scheme.
But I've come to understand that what I want is very different from what most other gamers want. I want precision and control; others just want pretty animations and hand-holding.
Sounds like something Sully *did* say. Uncharted 2, Borneo jungle cliffside, before jumping impossibly high into the rocky water below.
I'm just saying though. It's not like ND invented or trademarked the phrase! Just because Sully said it doesn't mean other characters can't.
Yeah, they were very immersive. Proof that sixaxis can be done well and actually add to a game.
Am I the only one who *doesn't* want movement to be like that?
Seriously look at it; it's all wobbly. That was the main issue with GTAIV's movements: they were imprecise. If you simply wanted your avatar to head in the direction behind and to his left, for example, he wouldn't just head in that direction; he'd perform some idiotic semi-circular jog until he was facing in that direction. This was especially annoying in tight quarters (or in RDR, on a narrow...
Was worse in RDR when you wanted your horse to gallop but couldn't turn the camera at the same time. R* REALLY need to improve their control scheme.
My guess is it's story related, but not just CGI. Some of the areas (towns, dungeons, etc.) may only be on one disc and the story has you returning to these areas on Disc 1 after you're finished with Disc 2.
They better. I WANT this on my Go. And Crisis Core, damn it!
Even if they're both consoles doesn't mean you're not comparing apples to oranges. The PS3 is a *home* console, the Vita is a *portable* console. Voila, comparisons voided.
It's completely normal for a new console to be more expensive than the older one. Especially if said new console has an OLED screen and has processing capabilities that near the console's.
If anything comparing a new phone to the Vita actually makes more sense than comp...
I think it's PC only. It's 200$ more expensive than the PlayStation 3DTV anyway, which we know will work with the PS3! The PS3DTV is 3 inches smaller, but I wouldn't pay 200$ for the difference. 24" is what I'm playing on now, and it's plenty if you sit close enough!
I blame cave paintings.
Looks like I'll *finally* be getting my JRPG fix. And with Studio Ghibli on board, couldn't ask for a better story! :D
I have to stop creeping Dark Souls reviews... Good review though.
Just wanted to say one thing about playing DS (Demon's and Dark) Online vs Offline: whatever fear and dread you experienced playing these games, would have been multiplied if you'd been playing offline.
Believe me, playing this online with helpful message scribbled everywhere reassures you when you're pressing on. Imagine you're making your way, completely unaware of any ambush ...
It's really too bad about the multiplayer, because this time around From really gave us reasons to invade other players. In Demon's Souls I did it just for kicks, but it was all for nothing really. The reward for invading and killing a player: you get your body back. Except I just wanted to go and invade again, so I'd just commit suicide right away and invade someone else. There was no purpose to invading.
This time, the covenants give you plenty of reasons to do ...
Long console cycles do a number of things:
-Allow devs to optimize their engines.
-Engines they've already developed and optimized means lower production costs and faster development cycles.
-Lower costs and faster development means more willingness to take risks.
That means we get potentially more innovative or creative games toward the end of consoles' life cycles. I wouldn't refuse an upgrade in hardware, but r...
