Make it a Dark Souls PvP tournament and I'm in! (But fix the lag first. Then make it a legit competition game.)
As long as you're not modding your consoles to PIRATE games, then I don't see a problem.

Too many games to play! I'm starting to build up a back-log of games on my PSP, because I can't resist getting them when they're on sale. I just got Ys Seven, Half-Minute Hero, and Disgaea 2, and I haven't even finished P3P yet... And I want FF: Tactics, and now Chrono Cross! And those are all (except :30 hero, maybe) very lengthy games.
Thing is, all my spare time is still going to Dark Souls, because I can't stop creating new character builds! But damn t...
Valkyria Chronicles 2 on PSP was awesome. I'll admit I was never really interested in VC on PS3, even though I'm assured it's better than the sequel, but I loved it on my hand-held. I just find the gameplay better suited to a portable console.
When I'm playing PS3 I like something more real-time, like an FPS or Demon's/ Dark Souls. But when I'm on my PSP, that's when I did into the strategic games and RPGs.

What an ignorant thing to say. Just because an RPG is on consoles doesn't mean it needs to be any liter than a PC one. All it is, is a developer's decision to make their game more accessible to try and capture a broader audience.
I hope they're going to have a strong emphasis on Concept Art--you know, the *actual* art behind the video games--rather than fan art.

I thought it had been confirmed until I recently read on IGN that it wasn't... That ruined my day! But this news brings my hopes up. Isn't a concrete confirmation, but it's something.

I remember DMC3 (original version with the jacked-up difficulty, of course). Beat it once, felt satisfied with myself... Never dared try it again!
I'm guessing since Dark is in the intro, they didn't put it into the article. And since Dark is a sort of honorary mention, they didn't want to put another game from the "same series".

Yup, I think Dark Souls was harder than Demon's Souls.
The bosses in Demon's were actually harder, but the mobs were a lot easier. And in both games, it's really the levels that are hard, not the bosses.
I don't know if Dark Souls is still harder though, post-patch. I've started a new playthrough, and From definitely made it easier than it was, but I've already beaten it 10x so I found it easy before anyways. That's why I can't...

Fails before it's even out of the gate: you're not going to "play everything" on a device with only 4 face buttons, a d-pad, and 2 shoulder buttons.

Radec is not impossible. And besides, Radec himself is easy--it's his mobs you fight before him that are hard! I didn't know it was possible for the screen to go so dark without dying, I came so close a few times during that fight when I finally beat it... Fucking Rocket Launcher assholes!
Uh... I've beaten Demon's Souls more times than I care to say, I got the platinum a loooong time ago, and I can beat it from scratch in about 5 hours... But even I'm not stupid enough to think I can beat it in an hour myself, or that just because someone out there can, that it's a game you shouldn't be frightened of!
Hell even the guy who beat it in an hour is probably still frightened of it--you have to be, otherwise if you let your guard down for one sec...
Yeah. Call me narrow minded, but I don't see what these people could possibly want to do with their modded consoles if it's NOT pirating games.
Seriously, what ever you want to do with your console you can probably do it better with a PC, without having to mod the damn thing.
