I'm a little confused. Says a few times that there's no lag, then says there's up to a second of lag in "normal mode".

I'll assume you meant "proprietary"... I think it's a piracy issue. They want to avoid the situation they had with the PSP. And I say: absolutely for the best. A lot of devs backed out of developing for the PSP for fear of losing so many sales to downloads. If having proprietary memory sticks on the Vita is the price to pay to avoid hacking and keep developer support, which means MORE GREAT GAMES, then I pay it GLADLY.

Other than that, the ports are top-notch. Disgaea series, Persona, etc. So many great RPGs on the PSP.
And Gran Turismo! I love that game on PSP. Not so much as a *racing* sim, since the other racers don't actually have AI (they just rubberband off you--annoying and makes for very poor races). But as a driving sim, GT PSP is just great.

My two main mp games are going to be Starhawk and Twisted Metal. But if I have to pick one... Man I think I'll go with Twisted Metal, but I'll be really sad to miss out on Starhawk. No way I could juggle both at the same time.

You'll get the ability to warp (from any bonfire) to certain bonfires soon, which will alleviate the walking back and forth.
My first impression was that Dark was harder, but now I find it extremely easy (I beat the whole game with only a dagger and no shield... at level 23!). So I don't think either is harder, just that they're different.
Also the patch did make it easier than it was before.
That's what NG+ is for! Hell I platted the game almost 2 months ago and I still can't stop playing it!
