Naoto wasn't dressing up like a man because she felt like one. She was doing it because she felt she HAD to be one in order to gain respect from her peers and the police. It's not about transexuality, but about gender roles and stereotypes.
The game didn't really force her into acting more like a woman. She was simply going outside of her comfort zone to please her peers once in a while and the PC in particular during romance. It's something all teenagers do...
I shouldn't even have to address your first issue with my post. Things like molesting children and theft are clearly wrong and hurt people. Those things aren't even remotely comparable to homosexuality. I thought that people would take that as a given, but apparently not.
As for your second issue, like I said, you're free to disagree if you wish and concern is fine. But... concern where it is not welcome is, for lack of a better term, annoying. Gays are not crim...
It's just hilarious to see this happen time and again whenever this subject matter gets brought up.
No one has the right to justly tell someone else that the way they find happiness is wrong or inferior and no person or religious text can justify that. There are many ways to the same end. You don't have to agree with it, but you have to respect and tolerate the way other people live their lives.
If all you have to offer is a passive accusation of ...
Bayonetta was a great game. It was incredibly fun to play and just oozed style. The reception had nothing to do with sex appeal.
It certainly had its flaws like sudden button prompts, overly long minigames, an incoherent plot and some boss recycling (all of which were mentioned by critics), but overall it was much better than the likes of DMC4 and such. The combat system put GoW3's stiff fighting to shame.
Because that's totally what ruined DA2.
Idiot.
@saftara
I wasn't being sarcastic.
Gotta love Valve.
Will people stop justifying this man's crime?!
He deserves forgiveness like everyone else would and no one should hold this against him if he is truly reformed, but trying to make his crime seem okay or tolerable is just wrong.
Yes, surely.
Then why would it all be Aperture and Portal themed?
I have very few complaints with the Half-Life 2 games. If the dev team is happier with Portal 2 than those, we're in for a truly great game.
Releasing the game early for only one platform would put everyone else at extreme risk of spoilers, which Valve certainly does not want.
A little late to the party?
Hopefully the game has the amount of content to back up the price.
I wonder what's really happening on the 15th, then...
Reach looked good, even great in a several spots, but definitely never top-of-the-line.
That myth... contradicts FFXIII's lore in so many ways.
The gods are fal'cie? Why would the fal'cie revere them then if they're equals?
There were l'cie before humans? That makes no sense.
How is Etro "the maker" now? She only made humanity.
How is Muin Etro's mother when she was only made by her son in the image of her?
Did they even think this backstory through? *facepalm*
I never really felt the combat system for the GoW series. It's too stiff for me. You can never roll out of a combo, quickly switch weapon combos on the fly, or cover ground quickly. Perhaps I was too spoiled by DMC and Bayonetta at that point.
With that said, GoW1 was undeniably innovative. It mixed action and adventure in a way never seen before at the time. The story was excellent and the visuals were absolutely stunning back then. It stopped innovating there, though....
There was nothing wrong with the characters. The main party was likeable and well fleshed out over the course of the story. The setting was certainly interesting, as well.
The plot itself, however, wasn't compelling in the least. The story didn't give a single reason to care about Cocoon or really anything beyond the main characters. It's a shame, because it had potential.
The battle system needs some serious deepening. We need to be able to s...
The voice acting wasn't bad at all. Not especially great, but the VA's were well competent. Neither was the dialogue when it wasn't trying to take itself seriously (or advance the plot). It rarely did, anyway.
I liked the music, but I do agree that the main battle theme and "Fly Me to the Moon" played too much.
Overall it was a great game, though. Not perfect, but really good.
