And who knows what PC will look like in DX11.
Everyone seems to forget that the PC demo is stuck in DX9...
It's not fog, that the volumetric lighting. It is because these shitty people comparing cant learn to stand in the same spot.
Look the the sun shafts/volumetric lighting, the angles are completely different because the player is not standing in the same place.
I think they set the 360 reference level to "expanded" which is the proper setting, while PS3 is left on "Limited".
PC totally depends on the settings they have set for their color profile (I believe color profiles affect screenshots, not just local monitor/TV output) on the PC and video card settings.
A cow that is skin and bones.
One 580 gtx!? Awesome, mind providing a link Big_Dom? I'd love to read that if you don't mind!!!
Where are the low polygon areas? Characters? weapons? buildings? AC Units????
Fuuuuuuuuuuck, I hit disagree! I didn't see the /s. Ill make it up to you and give you a bubble, sorry!
It is literally that bad here where fanboys would totally post that.
You do realize noisy fans are due to what ever PCB brand you chose right? Buy a GPU that has a larger fan than reference.
Bigger fans are quieter, they spin slower that small fans but still cool the same amount. Similar to a ceiling fan on low moving a shit load of air but making no noise.
Call of duty has a great controller layout. I loved COD4 and think it was the best one. CODWaW was decent and I liked the coop and the zombie mode, but then MW2 came in and is still a bug and unbalanced nightmare, started charging way too much for map packs. I didnt buy any MW2 map packs and I didnt buy blops.
Call of duty can have a good control scheme but still have the past 2 releases be garbage.
Love this game!!!! My only bug with the second one is I was really, really wanting COOP online. My cousin is who introduced me to it and he lives in Arizona and I live in Cali. Friend Battle is fun and all but it would be great to play COOP over the net. I really like all the new stuff they have added. Lots of creativity.
So if you have money and are short, you can't buy nice things or that means overcompensation....
Awesome logic.
Man, this is the only comment I have seen from you that is spot on.
Seriously, I give you props for saying that. Good on ya.
We all should just like GAMES.
I really liked the campaign!
The characters are great, the conversations they have in-action are funny and interesting and adds to them. The story was well told and a slight deviation from nukes, nukes and more nukes. And the AI on the hardest difficulty was pretty damn good. The amount of flushing they would do when you stayed in cover for more than 10 seconds was awesome.
I think he is talking about if he buys the PS3 version, his copy for steam cant play with his PS3 copy.
For example, I buy portal 2, give the copy to a friend but keep the steam code. If I link it to my PSN ID, my friend with the PS3 copy can't play online because the code was already used to tie my PSN account to the PS3 copy.
That wouldn't happen because then you would be not giving any money to Sony.
You buy the PS3 version, Sony gets their royalty cut out of the 60 bucks.
You buy it on Steam, Sony gets nothing. Sony wouldn't allow steam purchasers to download a free PS3 version from PSN.
You mean disc-based PC version.
Steam for the win.
How do you have 6 diagrees....how?
It looks fun as hell. Gmod would be so fucking cool (already is but even more) with that. Still alot for kinect though....
@rob6021
I don't think you know what tessellation actually is. I don't know what it has to do with the xbox's edram...

I was speaking to guigsy, agreeing, that it is said how easily the user DrHouse got his point proven by a fanboy...
@sltPoison
When people say a console/GPU supports tessellation, they mean it is done on the GPU (Hardware tessellation, not software), which is VERY fast compared to doing tessellation on the CPU (which is how reach did it).
When people say DX11 has tessellation, they are talking about HARDWARE...
Alan wake runs pretty far under 720P (but at least runs as 4xMSAA which is impressive for console), but has volumetric lighting done almost perfectly accurate while Crysis 2 does a less accurate version on consoles. Alan wake also does this on multiple light sources, not just the sun like Crysis 2. Crysis 2 also has deferred lighting which gives it much more dynamic lights. But Crysis 2 has object motion blur, while Alan Wake only has camera motion blur. Both have similar shadow quality and b...
