Not only that, DX and OpenGL are API's. The PS3 GPU is an nvidia GPU which CAN DO DX9 or OpenGL 2.0, but the PS3 SDK only supports OpenGL 2.0ES.
Same for Xbox and it's Ati GPU. It can do DX9 or OpenGL 2.0 but the Xbox SDK only supports DX9.

Alot of the modes in Blops are just modes stole from Counter Strike or other games. Especially the gun game. It is identical.

Xbox DVD holds gaming back. And soon Bluray will too, PC games aren't affected by disc size due to installs/DD. The PC version of GTA4 is 15GB just due to increased texture resolution. Imagine what they could have made if both console were bluray, or even better, like PCs and the devs could use what they wanted performance-wise, not technology-limited-wise.

But I wasn't literally saying Xbox/PS3 gamers are immature. I only said I hear it "quite often". What I am saying is a greater/very noticeable percentage of console players are immature compared to PC.
My gaming name is Black Knight (I am white, Black Knight is a name back in 1997 from the Jedi Knight game that went online) and I get called "n-word knight" all the damn time. The MP is a solid experience. It looks like many were expecting the campaign to be amazing. I never really cared for the campaign, I wanted a game that would focus on making an MP game that was more than K/D ratio (There are no deathmatch modes). I think the MP is great in how it requires more than just killing. You need to complete your objective, there are secondary objectives that can help assist your team to complete the primary objective.

Sand is challenging? What about it? Moving sand? Just saying "sand" and comparing that to the challenge of making an AI to play with cooperatively to solve puzzles is quite a horrible comparison.
How can COOP AI work in a puzzle solving game? You just start making waypoints for them or something? I think it is more of a technical challenge.

I REALLY hate this generation. I always own many systems as possible (that are worth it, IE not 3DO, lol). And I am completely willing to share how I hate XBL sub and its closed nature and lame proprietary hard drive, as well as PS3 removing OtherOS, lack luster online system (invite system is atrocious, no party chat, quality of MP varies drastically game to game), store browsing worse than XBLs....And so many more cons on both sides.
