So I guess now, as a reaction to the rampant feminism and white-knighting that's been going on lately, we're going to start seeing a lot of articles covering overtly male-centric sexual content on N4G.
It's so weird the way people act and react to things.
^Yeah, it's kind of sad. Every game they release makes it seem like EA has had a bigger and bigger influence over their development team.
Again, not bad games, but as is the case with so many games that try and reach ridiculously large, amorphous demographics, they end up feeling unremarkable without the depth and intricacy that comes with forsaking casual consumers.
Nah, it wasn't bad. It was just kinda unremarkable next to the first game. The characters were still interesting to get to know, but the story itself seemed kinda unfocused and all over the place. There were so many little story arcs that when the end came around, it didn't really feel like anything special.
Then you have the streamlined combat, the gimped character customization, and the environment recycling which all points to a game that was released before it was...
I never like seeing censorship, even when it's a game masquerading around as "erotica" when it's just a cheesy porn game.
It's kind of sad to think that sex will never, ever really be given any kind of levity in the industry because developers seem either unable or unwilling to treat the subject as anything other than a means to sell some quick copies of their games to the few horny rubes out there that don't seem to realize they can get this crap FO...

More like "you can expect some familiar feces"
Am I right guys?
It's true. It's one of the great forgotten gems of gaming.
Man, I gotta dust off the ol' Dreamcast now, I think.
I, like basically every other human being on the planet, enjoy sex and sexuality. I think we can all agree that it's something we are all into, in one form or another.
Personally, though, it exhausts me being PERPETUALLY bombarded with sexual imagery while playing my games, from shooters to MMO's to RPG's to...pretty much everything.
In all honesty, I don't really think there should be a "line" drawn anywhere, but I do think develope...
Huh. This one kind of sneaked under the radar, didn't it? Seeing as it's only three bucks right now on steam, and I've loved pretty much everything from McMillen and co., I'd say I'm gonna have to pick this up right quick.
^^I think that's the problem with this whole thing right there. It seems like every "con" assembled by the LGBT community is just another venue with which to hook up. And it almost HAS to be if the entire event is predicated around SEXUAL ORIENTATION.
Which is fine, I suppose, but if you're really, truly in it for the games, then guess what? You're more than welcome to attend practically every other gaming convention going on out there. As far as I know,...
It's cool that they've got the majority of the game done, but I sorta just want the whole thing. If I can wait eight years, I can wait however long it takes to finish the rest of it at this point.
Haha. That RE5 commercial is just hilarious. Not really that weird at all.
Three people didn't catch the reference there...
Majora's Mask is Ocarina of Time's Godfather Part II.
And Sunshine is like the Rubber Soul of the series.
Come on now. Everybody knows that.
You all understand that there is a difference between thinking something is convoluted and not understanding something, right?
I fully understood the plots of MGS 2-4, but at the same time I thought they were needlessly convoluted...as in they were layered with plots and subplots in an attempt to feign depth.
Ah, you must not of heard, chief. You can play Vita games AND PSOne games on the system. You obviously didn't get the memo. Don't worry about it.
Western reviewers do tend to be pretty hard on Eastern games, but Atelier has always been a particularly polarizing franchise, even amongst the most niche games to make it to the Western shores.
Personally, I have a soft spot for the games, but I fully understand why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.
It's got it's own charms. The story and characters are actually pretty engaging, the incredible animation makes up for some of the poorer character designs, and the combat is fast and fun.
It doesn't come close to dethroning the games it obviously draws inspiration from, but it's still a lot of fun to play through, I promise.
Still ate that sandwich though. Didn't want it to go to waste.
Definitely worth the price for people that haven't bought any of these yet. Telltale did a great job with the franchise.
