This article kind of trivializes the collaborative nature of the two Galaxy games. In fact if it weren't for Kondo, Yokota would have taken the Galaxy franchise into Latin/synth territory. He had a bunch of latin-inspired midi and synth tracks already written, but Kondo made the decision to trash them and go with more appropriate orchestral sounds.

That's an interesting idea, but there would be a lot of problems to work through. You have to consider things like local multiplayer and bloated size when you start including all the standard features offered by home consoles.

Rose-colored glasses. You guys need to go back and play the N64 version. The 3DS version looks a LOT better. I mean it's a port so it's going to use some of the same assets, but a great deal of it has been completely redone.
As much as I liked looking at her skimpy clothing in the previous games, it's nice to see her wearing something a little more contextually appropriate. Maybe they figured they'd taken the fanservice as far as they could.
